I only used the English text-to-speech feature. I like the voices and the wide selection available. I also like the intonation. I really enjoy doing voiceovers with your service. Everything is easy and clear to use.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

There’s nothing I dislike, but there are a few things I would like to see added.

More speed options would be great. I’d also like the ability to change the character or mood of a voice while keeping the same voice. And it’s a pity that you can’t test the settings before generating the audio.

I use it to voice my videos. I believe your service does this better than if I did it myself.

ElevenLabs offers extremely natural-sounding voices with excellent prosody and intonation. The quality is consistent even with longer texts, and the API is easy to integrate into real-world applications. Voice customization, stability, and low latency make it a reliable tool for production use, not just demos.

The prosidy and range of voice options are unmatched, and the agents are incredibly easy to develop with minimal prompting

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I wish that for languages that are supported, but don't have voices available on the platform, that there was more of a push or low barrier way to recruit for them. For example, I would love to use Luxembourgish, and I'm making it work, but it would be so much easier if I could recruit people to record their voices without them needing to set up and pay for an account, because there aren't other options on the platform. I am using the voice of a Luxembourgish person who recorded in English and it's fine, but could be better. Similarly, for a different project, I've struggled to find voices for an older Black American man - anything to help increase the range of voices would be appreciated. Also, there was one voice that I used in an agent, and it was a female voice speaking English with a latina accent, and occassionally, in the agent it would switch to a really deep male voice all of a sudden in the third turn - super strange, and I didn't see a way to report this anywhere!

It's helping me create conversational simulations to improve communication skills.

ElevenLabs is solving the problem of creating realistic, high-quality AI voiceovers quickly and easily. The software includes an AI voice called 'Neal,' which has an Indian accent, and I found it extremely impressive. Being free and realistic makes it even more beneficial, as I can create professional content efficiently while experimenting with different styles and tones for my videos.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I like that ElevenLabs works pretty quickly and shows who says what pretty accurately. In my research, it's really helpful that it automatically separates who says what, making it easier for me. I don't have to do it myself, and it does all the text separation for me, which streamlines my process.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I wish that I could transcribe more audio files at once. I'm working with over a 100, so only being able to do three at a time is a little annoying sometimes. And I wish I could download all of the transcribed files at once rather than having to go through each one and, like, download it as a TXT file.

**What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ElevenLabs to transcribe voice recordings on my Mac, which it does efficiently and can identify speakers accurately, aiding my content analysis.

I use ElevenLabs for creating Arabic audiobooks with text-to-speech. I like the good quality and pronunciation for multiple various dialects. The sounds and voices are more real, and I appreciate the lively Arabic voices.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

The pricing is really expensive, which is a major drawback for me. I find the SSML submission and manipulating tones, speed, and adding pauses quite cumbersome since it requires multiple API calls for each paragraph. This makes the TTS pipeline costly and time-consuming compared to Azure, which accepts Polly and allows easier programming of multiple voices with SSML scripts. Additionally, the API was confusing and didn’t work smoothly during the initial setup; it took a while, and the free tier didn’t cover my needs, which was annoying.

I use ElevenLabs for Arabic audiobooks TTS. It solves the problem by providing good, lively Arabic voices with multi-dialect support.

I like using ElevenLabs for its text to speech functionality, which allows me to get a professional narrator in different languages at a lower price. I appreciate having the ability to create small-length videos for marketing, which otherwise wouldn't be possible with my budget as I'm bootstrapping my company. I find the setup of ElevenLabs to be very easy and friendly.

More high quality narrators would be a plus. Text to video is very high cost. The videos require many tries and subscription points to be spent to generate a right one.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

First of all - the ease of use. The platform allows all of the customization through a beautiful and understandable UI, even the person that is not related to coding can customise and created a perfectly applicable agent. The workflow feature also differentiates the platform from its competitors. The latency is also notably less then that of its direct competitors. The extensive voice marketplace allows for some fine-tuned voices for a specific use case.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I would say that the multilingual feature can be a bit underperforming especially when the sentence contains multiple languages. In this case, the pronunciation of those foreign words can be quite bad. Also from developer's perspective, there is no way to manipulate the audio input and output in any way, which may reduce some of the use cases (for example the pronunciation assessment using some third party provider).

Agentic workflows are the future, so we are experimenting in automation of some of the stuff.

I like that the interface is very straightforward and the API is also easy to develop against. It's a sophisticated and varied service that only reveals the tools you want when you need them. The creation of the original voice is great and it's something I look forward to using more in the future. The fast development cycles are a big plus because you're not wrestling with badly designed interfaces. The initial setup was very easy, which is always a relief.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I would love it if they had some kind of physical presence within cities like London - where you could have very cheap and targeted studio time to record purely for the custom speaker. The cost of hiring a studio is sometimes prohibitively expensive for this kind of thing - and it would be great to see an affordable and fast option.

I like that ElevenLabs has the best text-to-speech feature we've encountered so far. Also, from what I've seen in other people's reviews, they say ElevenLabs is the best on the market, which aligns with my experience since it solves our needs.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

{"Dubbing doesn't fit for making long videos and audio translations. It only works for small fragments and is not suitable for long interviews or technical content. It's expensive and less effective than manually integrating speech to text, translating, and then text to speech.","The text-to-speech feature with the version two model becomes monotone for audio longer than thirty seconds and doesn't handle long paragraphs well. Only short ones up to thirty seconds work.","The initial setup was not easy, I'd rate it a six out of ten. The onboarding process is confusing due to many features we don't need and understanding essential features like text to speech wasn't clear from the start."}

First of all, thank you for the amazing work you’re doing. The platform has become an important part of my workflow, and I really appreciate the quality you’re pushing toward.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

1) Voice consistency across models  
When I train a voice in one model and then try to use it with a younger model, the voice changes quite noticeably and no longer sounds like the person I trained. Maintaining the identity of the original voice is very important for my projects, so this shift makes it difficult to use different models.

2) Pronunciation of numbers / “3D-style” words  
The trained voice often struggles with numbers or terms like “3D.” The delivery feels unnatural and sometimes includes strange pauses in the middle of the phrase.

3) Emotional variation on first generation  
When I generate a text for the first time, the read can sound flat. But if I regenerate the exact same text again, it suddenly becomes more fluent, expressive, and dynamic. I would really love to get that level of quality on the first try, without needing multiple regenerations.

4) Very important – incomplete dubbing / untranslated parts  
During dubbing, some words or short segments are occasionally left in the original language or not dubbed at all. This is critical for me, because I then have to cut those parts out in my editing project and re-dub them separately, which slows everything down a lot.

I hope this feedback is helpful. I truly enjoy using ElevenLabs and would love to see improvements in these areas, as they would make a huge difference in my daily work.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I use ElevenLabs for voice changing and generating voices for organic ads. It’s really fast and the API works smoothly. I like that it's started by Polish guys, which makes me proud of its success in the AI and SaaS market as a fellow Pole. Dubbing, voice changing, and especially generating voices with the new model V3 are great. The V3 model lets me clarify exactly what I want, and it adds a lot of value because the voices sound natural. Working with Heygen using the new model is also definitely effective. The initial setup was very easy, as voice cloning or creating is simple, which is a big advantage. Overall, I haven't found another product that works as well as ElevenLabs.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I find that generating long scripts is a bit problematic because the voice tends to slow down when the script is a little longer. The voice changer could also use some improvement, especially in English and for multilingual support in other languages.

One of the things I really like about ElevenLabs — especially the newer updates — is how much focus they’ve put on voice customization and expressiveness. I also appreciate the improvements in multilingual support — not just basic pronunciation, but voices that handle intonation and rhythm in languages like Spanish, French, and Hindi much better than earlier versions. I really like the choice of models ElevenLabs offers; it really stands out to me. I use ElevenLabs to communicate with others after losing my ability to speak due to a brain injury. I appreciate that some relay apps work with the cloned voice ElevenLabs created for me, and this helps a lot compared to the very robotic-sounding voices of other text-to-speech software. The initial setup of ElevenLabs was easy.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I'm still trying to figure out how to use ElevenLabs, and I haven't been able to return to work yet because I can't get my cloned voice to work on Zoom calls or Teams video calls. My cloned voice tone is off, and it doesn't pronounce numbers correctly. In some cases, like with the number 5, it doesn't pronounce them at all. Also, I'm unable to use it online or on phone relay programs like Nagish.

I really like the voice quality of ElevenLabs. It's the best we've figured out, offering far better quality compared to other models we've tried. It handles interruptions very nicely with its turn-taking capabilities, something we've always wanted in our LLMs. I find the expressive voice features of ElevenLabs to be very nice.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I think the pricing could be improved. While the quality is really nice, the cost is a bit too much for integrating all our workflows into ElevenLabs. If the pricing was better, it would help us migrate everything smoothly. Another thing is the lack of end-to-end logging and tracing. It would be helpful to have a way to distinguish any latency between our system and ElevenLabs or in generating the voice itself. These improvements would be nice, especially when scaling production systems.

I have been working on my NLP projects using their API in Python. IMOM also has state-of-the-art voice cloning quality. I like that we can control stability and similarity settings programmatically. Latency is quite low, which benefits our real-time chatbot demonstrations.

If you want to create audio for multiple large datasets, the prices are high. Sometimes it just takes too many samples to fine-tune the custom models. You need to handle Indian names pronunciation and sometimes manual tweaking is needed in text.

I love the integration offered by ElevenLabs as well as the low latency, which is very useful for following conversations and trying to debug. It's good. The communications around your YouTube channel are also very good. The YouTube videos and tutorials you provide are excellent. You have created a library of components in Next.js and React, which made our integration very easy. With well-done documentation and good code, we were able to integrate your components quite quickly.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

It is quite complicated to find pleasant and friendly French voices, as there are too many voices from Quebec or Belgian French, which give particular accents. The range of voices is quite limited. I am also quite disappointed with the default model gemini-2.5 flash, which worked well some time ago, but has not been functioning for a week. The gemini 3.0 flash is unable to call the tools and often crashes. The errors suggest that your agent suites are drifting. I have no logs to understand these issues, which makes me think that the solution is more suited for prototyping than for large-scale evolution. It will eventually become too expensive, and I won't have the control to scale. I am not sure about continuing to use it to convince a financier or a board of its viability since it is too limited for the general public.

I love the voice realism of ElevenLabs, which has eliminated the need for paid voice actors and voices that sound robotic. As a Greek company, we struggled with bad accents using less advanced services, but ElevenLabs handles the Greek accent perfectly, achieving native Greek realism. The software's ability to understand prompts and fix voices is impressive, as it often achieves the best voice for our projects by the second or third prompt correction. I also appreciate the ability to save voices, ensuring they always sound realistic and different for each project group. The setup was easy and straightforward, and after a few tries, we started creating acceptable voiceovers. For voice creation, I would rate it a 10, while video creation gets a 7.5.

I think the tool that creates captions, if you make corrections at the auto-generated text, after the corrections it creates the voice again. Sometimes we just need to create the caption text, not regenerate the voice. Make a little less tricky the video creations tools, voice creation is more polished and straightforward.

I like that ElevenLabs has a fairly low barrier as far as figuring out how to use the tool. I also like that there are examples already set out, making it easier to understand how to use it. I appreciate being able to find other background audio tracks and then being able to edit those or adapt a prompt.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I did find the background music generation relatively confusing to use. It looks as though there's a library you can pull down directly other tracks that people generated, however, these files were pretty unfriendly to work with or the audio wasn't coming over even though the file was there. My main complaint is the ability to put pauses in speech that is generated. Sometimes there was a lack of ability to control the pacing of the audio file that was being generated for the text to speech. That might be a user limitation, meaning that I just don't know how to do it.

I find it unfortunate to have a limited quota for text-to-speech and not be able to use some quotas from other features for text-to-speech. There are things I don't use and I would just like more quotas on text-to-speech. Moreover, the page shakes every time during two-factor authentication, it would be nice to fix that.

I like the text to speech functionality using my personal professional voice. I'd like to use more of the features, but getting text to speech to work has been enough of a challenge.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

ElevenLabs user interface is almost impossible to figure out and the documentation is terrible. I haven't been able to find documentation on some features. I don't think it is updated when they release enhancements. 

So far, I have not been able to get a usable recording of my text even though I created a professional voice of myself with over two hours of sample recordings. Until I can actually use ElevenLabs in production, I won't recommend it. If I can't get it to work, I will end my subscription.

For the cloning tool, when technical jargon is clearly stated in the training files, it should carry over into using that voice clone with text-to-speech. If I upload a file with product names clearly stated, that should carry over to when I use that voice to turn text into speech. I've been taking the generations and editing them slightly in Davinci Resolve to make it sound more natural and remove the synthetic sound of the AI generations.

I like the professional voice clone feature of ElevenLabs very much. It is really good at mimicking the voice of the real person, almost 95% accurate. It gives me so many features, including the recently added imagine video models that allow me to generate video content. I find it really nice and helpful, and I use normal text-to-speech too. It offers many options of different types of voices, and I can create new voices using the voice design feature. It's really helpful. These features save my time as I don't have to rerecord if I make any mistakes; I just have to write a script, and it solves the time problem. It's really valuable for generating my voice easily.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I think the voice models can still be improved. It's at 90-95% good, but if it can clone the voice 100%, it would be really amazing. Also, sometimes the image and video models do not work like there are some issues with that. They can resolve it.

I saved a lot of time on voice-over because my English is poor and I can't sound native with my heavy accent. Everything turned out super fast: I just uploaded the files and inserted them into the neural network.

Surprisingly, not all audio files. That is, I made a recording from the voice recorder, exported the recording. It's in some emfora format, and there's another emfora. ElevenLabs processes one, but doesn't process the other. I later realized that you can rename the extension more often.

I saved a lot of time on voice-over for a startup video because my English is poor and I have a strong accent. Using a narrator from ElevenLabs allows me to do it faster and with better quality.

I appreciate the good quality AI voice rendition and the wide range of voices available in ElevenLabs, including German, French, British, and African (Swahili), which makes it versatile for creating audiobooks. One of the main reasons I switched from Google Play was that ElevenLabs offers a variety of voices and customization options were inadequate in Google Play.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I don't like the lack of user control. When I export the sound file, I cannot select mono or stereo, which means I have to run batch scripts to convert them to mono. The biggest issue for me though is sound volume. The same narrator can speak with different volumes within a chapter. For example, one paragraph might be normal volume, and then another is loud, which is inconsistent. The AI generated sound effects are also a bit basic, and the library of sounds is not extensive. Setting up ElevenLabs initially was a bit of a pain because I couldn't change the Project Title after it was assigned.

I am creating an audiobook. ElevenLabs provides good quality AI voice rendition with a wide range of voices. However, it lacks user control, as I can't select mono or stereo when exporting. The sound volume consistency is also an issue across different chapters.

The quality, especially of the conversational audio, is impressive. They also offer a very interesting creation platform, which made me consider this company one of the best I've encountered in terms of customer experience. In terms of media and creatives, they definitely stand out.

My complaint is basically about the financial constraint premise I face regarding the tool. The operational costs are quite aggressive, which significantly limits the use of the operation. To scale, I would need to use 100,000 minutes per month, which is financially unfeasible at the start.

I began with the free plan, then moved up to the $5 per month option, and have now upgraded to the creator plan. Each step has provided me with enough credits to refine my value proposition and confirm that the service is a good fit for my business. Within the platform, I find the voice cloning and music generation features especially useful—they have become essential parts of my workflow. While having access to additional voices is a nice extra, it isn't a primary benefit for me.

I have recently started using ElevenLabs studios and find it to be a great tool. I plan to use it much more in the future, but I have encountered a few challenges. My main use is to combine voice and music in one place, rather than switching between different apps—Audacity is usually part of my workflow. However, since ElevenLabs studio is more focused on video, this makes things a bit more complicated for my needs. While I do add audio to video, I find that the controls are not quite advanced enough for detailed video editing. My usual process is to sync the video to the voice, not the other way around. Another challenge I’m facing is with adjusting the generated music to fit the emotional context of the text used for the voice. I’m not sure if I just haven’t learned the right workflow yet or if this feature is missing. Currently, I mark emotional tones in Audacity, then use an AI tool (Perplexity Pro) to help me come up with suitable prompts for ElevenLabs to achieve the emotional effect I want, and then return to ElevenLabs to apply them.

ElevenLabs is helping me address the limitations of my own voice by allowing me to clone it, which makes it easier to create content for my channel.

The Studio editor is particularly useful for structuring longer texts and maintaining consistent voice quality across chapters. Voice customization options (stability, clarity, style) allow fine control without requiring technical expertise. For creative work, narration, and prototyping, it is one of the most convincing AI voice tools currently available.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

For long-form projects, the workflow can still feel slightly fragmented, especially when iterating on updated text versions. Regeneration of longer sections can be time-consuming, and version control could be clearer.
Pricing is fair for quality, but costs can rise quickly for heavy audiobook or batch usage. Additionally, documentation around best practices for long-form narration could be more structured and centralized.

ElevenLabs significantly reduces the time and cost required to produce high-quality voice narration. It replaces traditional voice recording for drafts, MVPs, audiobooks, and internal content, while still sounding professional enough for public distribution.

I really appreciate that ElevenLabs makes replicating my voice both easy and relatively inexpensive, which is exactly what I needed. The platform and interface are very intuitive, allowing me to jump in and use it without much learning curve. This is a big deal for me, especially since I'm usually juggling multiple tasks at the same time, and being able to get started quickly on projects that seemed daunting is a major plus. The ease of use and the intuitive nature of the platform were definitely bonuses that made a difference for me. I love the fact that ElevenLabs gives me a wide range of voices that are very natural and beautiful. It's amazing how it solves the issue of artificial intelligence voices being too robotic and provides such a natural voice. The initial setup is extremely easy, with just a couple of buttons, and you are ready to use it. The platform's interface is straightforward, making it clear where to paste text, press play, and download audio. It's honestly the easiest platform I've ever seen.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I don't like the credits system. I just paid a monthly subscription, and I can't believe there are limits, like a hundred minutes or a 100,000 credits. Please, give me unlimited access for a monthly amount.

**What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that ElevenLabs creates exactly the script I want and provides very natural AI voices, solving the problem of robotic-sounding voices in other tools.

One thing which i live about ElevenLabs is the natural, human-like voice quality,  it has multiple voice options in male and female type, quality of pronunciation is very good. Also the voice clip which it generate is quite real, doesn't seems like a robotic voice. It is very easy to use, even a first time user can easily operate it and generate the desire voice clip.

ElevenLabs has helped us by improving the efficiency and mitigate the dependency on 3rd party agency, now our team can easily generate the voice  and use as pre the requirement with out any delay and also it save a lot of money that we used to pay to our 3rd party agencies. Now we are able to create our training module, documents, demo and marketing video easily. No intervention is required from a voice over artist.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I use ElevenLabs mainly for AI generation, specifically text to speech, voiceovers, and narration. It's really helpful for storytelling and creating professional voice clones. I find the projects feature very good, as it allows me to create voiceovers for YouTube videos. The initial setup was very simple, and I use the API extensively in my projects, including English learning apps and story apps since I am an Android and iOS developer. Overall, ElevenLabs serves a wide range of my creative needs effectively.

My Hindi voice is okay, but when I use my voice for English, it sounds different. Since my training data was me speaking in Hindi, it affects the output. You should allow Hindi voice and English voice samples separately in training, so one person can submit two types of voices.

ElevenLabs solves my storytelling needs and enables me to create professional voice clones. It works well for voiceovers in YouTube projects.

I appreciate ElevenLabs because it works just as promised and delivers very high-quality output. The setup process was pretty easy, especially since I primarily use the text-to-speech feature, which is straightforward. I like that ElevenLabs allows the cursor to follow the lyrics while the song is playing, it's very convenient for observation. I also like the ability to choose a different number of options that can be prepared. It's important that if a song is created on the first try, I don't have to pay two or three times more credits, which saves resources. This is really useful for me, especially with English voiceovers, as my English is not native, and it helps me.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

Sometimes the neural network makes mistakes and doesn't work according to prompts, yet it still takes credits for the incorrectly completed work. You need to contact support to resolve this issue. It would be nice to automate this process.

**What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ElevenLabs to create songs on YouTube and English voiceovers. It does a good job with voiceovers, which is important since English is not my native language.

Not all fields of the options are in Portuguese, which ends up making it difficult for me to understand and slightly delaying the learning process.

It is a multifunctional platform where I can create and use voices for my content on social media. Without it, my audio wouldn't have the same quality. I know there are several other features available, but for now, I mainly end up using this function.
