Hudson is a robust tool that we used in our project to automate the Tomcat jobs. It makes the life of a programmer really easy. Usually, we automate the Hudson jobs to run at a specific time, but sometimes we need to run jobs on an ad-hoc basis, and that can be done easily by clicking the button available in the Hudson UI interface, which is just a link that can be opened in any browser.
