"Duet Eliminates Context Switching with a Trusted, All-in-One AI Workspace"

What do you like best about Duet?

Duet gives you a single orchestration workspace to work with the best AI for each task so you're not limited to one provider. It uses Claude for strategy and writing, image models for branded visuals, video models for animation, APIs for publishing. Its centralized memory means you don't lose context between any of them. That's what gets it much closer to bridging the gap between AI tools and the value AI is truly capable of. It's really not about the code, writing, knowledge, or calculations. It's about coordination.

Context switching has always been a killer. The coordination cost and effort of running multiple complex projects simultaneously without losing context has been enormous. When you're running a team, that includes effectively being the memory for everyone; knowing who has which information, who needs to be reminded, who can work independently and whose work benefits from extra contextual guidance.

Duet has complete context because it's building alongside me. It remembers what we decided and where we landed after things changed. It knows everything from how I think, what's important to me, and the mental model best suited for a particular situation through to PARALLAX brand colors, font, voice, and my ultra-picky alt-tag philosophy for website images.

It's earned trust incrementally by remembering corrections the first time, by catching a wrong source link in a published blog before anyone noticed, by building a cron job to auto-heal its own credential rotation problem when a connected service kept expiring keys, then upgrading itself from daily to every six hours when daily wasn't enough. It scours credible news sources for important shifts, launches, and opinions so I'm not overwhelmed by noise. For the first time, this feels like a collaborative effort. What do you dislike about Duet?

I don't have much that's negative to say at this point. It's not frictionless but that's been a good thing because it's felt like working with a team. The metrics dashboard broke six times from credential expiry. I rejected an entire LinkedIn content series because the tone was wrong. Early drafts missed my voice. But the corrections stuck. The system learned. And the fact that it eventually built its own automated fix for the recurring credential problem is a better story than "it just worked from day one." A team member who never makes a mistake is less valuable than one who learns from them.

What problems is Duet solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recognizing and answering the right question is what I built my new consultancy around. I've done single-handed service builds before but I've always been better with a team around me. There are things I do fairly well and others that I should never be allowed near 🙂

When I started using Duet, I wasn't evaluating an AI tool. I was looking for something that could keep up with the way I work: nonlinear, across multiple business tracks simultaneously, without repeating myself, and with no patience for a fawning AI telling me how insightful basic observations are. I really wanted a collaborator who could do much of the grunt work, so I could do the parts that only I could do.

Here's what happened over five weeks.

I launched a consultancy. PARALLAX went from a concept and a pivotal strategy call to a business plan, pricing, live website with full schema markup, branding including unique images, 12 blog posts written, optimized, and staged via HubSpot API, a GTM prospecting app that scores accounts against my ICP and pushes to CRM, a live metrics dashboard, and a weekly AI pricing intelligence brief feeding my positioning work. The site went from zero Google impressions to 370+ in a month, hitting page-one positions.

I built a pricing diagnostic methodology. A five-lens analytical framework, three completed diagnostics, a Google Docs template, a newsletter architecture with a revenue model, and the first episode scripted. This isn't boilerplate — it's IP that came out of working through the thinking together.

I ran my new vacation rental in the same workspace. Whangaroa Barn got a full AEO audit, six new content pages targeting seasonal long-stay bookings, schema markup, listing copy for four platforms, a YouTube SEO package, Google Business posts, and a sitemap that grew from 7 to 12 URLs — all indexed. A new page hit position 10.3 in four days; tough to do with a site that's not even three months old.

I sunset a product with clarity, not guilt. AllianceHub got a proper schema package and visibility audit. The data made the decision obvious: we'd built it for a specific use case, for which it worked great. It just didn't have wide enough appeal, evidenced by a tiny search market.
