"DroneDeploy: Powerful 3D Modeling with Room for Growth"
4/5
What do you like best about DroneDeploy?

I like using DroneDeploy for creating detailed flights, especially for generating high-level 3D models. This really adds value to my work as it allows me to visualize and utilize the progress of a site in a step-by-step manner. The aspect of overlaying an IFC file to visualize the 3D model significantly changes our project conversations. The real-world coordinates also make it easy for the field staff to understand and they can receive a link easily. It's fairly easy to set up as well, although there can be occasional hiccups when field staff need to sign in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?

I really enjoy the overlaying feature in DroneDeploy, but there's a big downside—it can be pretty inconsistent. Sometimes it works and other times it just doesn't, which isn't great when you're out in the field and need reliability. I've tried getting support, but the responses feel like a shrug, with no real solutions provided. Also, the processing time for ground control points can be really slow, taking anywhere from 20 minutes to even a whole day, which is kind of a pain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
