**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

Draw.io is a simple to use software design tool. I use it often to quickly construct system architecture diagrams. The procedure is made simpler by the large library of shapes and elements, and the drag-and-drop feature is simple to use. Also, it comes with bunch of export file options that makes it easy to integrate with other tools

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

While Draw.io is great, improved version control features would help track changes in group projects more effectively. Additionally, for developers like me, having more automated alternatives for creating code from UML diagrams would be super useful.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My go-to method for converting obtuse ideas in software design into illustrative, intelligible representations is Draw.io. For instance, Draw.io made it simple for me to depict the relationships and entities in a sophisticated database schema that I designed for a recent project. The simplicity of cloud storage integration and the flexibility of export to several formats made sharing with stakeholders and team members a breeze. Because of Draw.io's user-friendliness and robust feature set, my productivity has greatly increased, and my development team's communication has improved.

  ### 11. Draw.io's Easy Diagramming: A User-Friendly Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SIDHARTH K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

A great tool for producing flowcharts, diagrams, and other visual representations of concepts is Draw.io. I appreciate its user-friendly interface the most about it. Even folks who aren't extremely tech-savvy can use it because it is simple to use and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

Another small drawback is that the offline mode's functionality is constrained in comparison to the online version. If you need to work without an internet connection, this can be a problem.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What i love about Draw.io is group collaboration tools in that are also revolutionary. It enables efficient teamwork by enabling numerous people to edit the same diagram in real time. As a result, group tasks are now far more productive because there is no longer a need for frequent back and forth communication.

  ### 12. How Draw.io Helps You Make Flowcharts and Designs with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam M. | Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Simplicity. What I love most about Draw.io is its standalone version. It does not need any web app or subscription to access its features like other tools. It lets me use all its functions and capabilities by just dragging and dropping. I don’t have to spend much time learning how to make blueprints with this tool.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

I like everything about it. It’s easy and hassle-free to work on tasks with this tool. The only issue I have sometimes is saving a specific design. It needs some manual input every time I want to save a project.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With this tool, I can create different blueprints and UML diagrams such as class diagrams, activity diagrams, and flowcharts that describe the several dependencies among any software, This tool is handy for me since software development relies a lot on various UML diagrams.

  ### 13. Distracting "Saving..." warning

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

It (the standalone version) is fairly easy to use and quite similar to Gliffy.
Looks good, except for the unnecessary "saving..." messages.
Fast.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

* If autosaving is enabled, there is a distracting message "Saving..." in the top bar. Disabling autosaving just makes it even worse, a red alert box saying "Unchanged saves". This is poor UX, especially as there seems to ne no way to disable it.

* Grouping objects and moving groups doesn't work as expected.

* Errors in the Swedish translation. For example, "Saving" is incorrectly translated into "Sparande", which means Savings. The correct translation would be "Sparar".

* Contact support is a complicated and time-consuming process.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It replaces Gliffy, but then again not as I need to find a distraction-free tool to replace draw.io.

  ### 14. Easy to use for mutiple uses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allen E. | President/CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Draw.io is very easy to use to create org chart, flow charts, technical drawings, engineering diagrams and other uses. I personally use it to map out systems in my business and CRM.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

The app does what it is supposedto do I haven't come across anything I needed it to do that wasn't supported. I do tend to my make drawing in a poor scale and I suppose that could be fired because when it's done I can't print it in the format I need it to - but i think there is a way to fix the canvas size to prevent this problem.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a visual prersona nd when i wanted to map out processes in my business I needed a program with a big enough canvas and different objects I can use to link the flow chart. Draw.io did not disappintme and its my go to for similar projects.

  ### 15. Easy to use and free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Easy to use
Free
Straightforward features and intuitive to understand and navigate
Able to export in different formats
Easy to customise
It has pre-loaded templates you can start from or a blank canvas to draw your own for the most experienced

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

Saving patterns are a little annoying when wanting to change location
A little old-fashioned in look, but it does not affect its performance; it would do with a bit of modernisation.
Essential functions but excellent features for a free system. It gives all you need for simple charts and flows.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mapping process flows that are not too complex for my team to read and understand, summarising longer process documents in a chart. Making step-by-step guides with checklists that are easy to follow.

  ### 16. Draw.io is a great tool to draw anything you want and save it quickly without any hassle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash W. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

Draw.io is a lightweight and straightforward tool just like MS Paint. It is constructive to draw a lot of types of charts and easy to export and share. You can also save it in its file format to resume the work later. A lot of templates too.

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

UI looks a little old. I've used other apps similar to it and I felt it had a comparatively poor UI. It needs development on that part. Also, I felt the help is not that supportive.

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has solved a lot of problems in creating charts and diagrams for presentations. It supports a lot of file types which is helpful since a lot of people have different devices which may result in file support being unsupported. So, Figma covers most of the file types. It has also helped in working with people online collboratively.

  ### 17. Feature rich diagramming tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

-It would be great to see some kind of automation for diagram, currently it lacks the same

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It offers lots of designs, shapes, and icons which allow creation of visually appealing architectural diagrams of complex systems which make those systems easy to understand. Also it is very easy to use so everyone can easily use it. a

  ### 18. Easy to use tool to create architecture diagrams and database models

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dushyant P. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

The simplicity of Draw is its biggest asset. Rather than complicating the product with fancy UI, it focuses on the essential drag and drop with standard, regularly used patterns and features, ensuring that diagrams and models are quick to make and export

It allows a variety of save, export and share options

**What do you dislike about Draw.io?**

Accessibility is limited, given the product has not considered that a focus point. It often gets hard to manipulate drag and drop. There's no cross platform availability.

Sharing is also limited to Google drive users only

**What problems is Draw.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being part of a technology architecture team, we use Draw.io regularly to create architecture diagrams and database models for our applications. Additionally, we also need to tweak diagrams sent as images by other teams. Draw caters to these core functionalities well. giving us a good in-browser experience without the overload of installing additional software.

Greatly hopeful of further customizability and modernization of the product

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Draw.io?**

1. In business we usually use closed-source expensive tools, but I came to know this tool a few years ago as it was plugin confluence and from that time onwards I found it a very powerful tool for daily architecture activities.
