What do you like best about DoxAI?

What I value most about DoxAI is its configurable project‑level submission portal functionality paired with built‑in document receipt tracking, which brings structure and traceability to multi‑party document collection for our geotechnical projects. Before we adopted DoxAI and were still relying on Progress ShareFile plus regular email to gather third‑party materials, we ran into a major issue on a municipal development project last spring. Our external soil‑testing subcontractor sent over updated shear‑strength lab results, but nobody remembered to upload those files into our shared folder. The updated data stayed buried in an email thread, and we only found out we were missing this critical information three days before our permit filing deadline. We had to rush to reach out to that testing vendor and scramble to get the correct report, putting our whole permit submission at real risk. That stressful situation made me realize how unreliable our old process really was. What do you dislike about DoxAI?

First, DoxAI offers no native integration with Oracle Eloqua. After technical documents are validated within DoxAI, staff must manually export relevant files and reference them when preparing project updates for client campaigns. During a residential subdivision project last summer, one project engineer reused an older local copy of soil bearing-capacity data instead of exporting the latest validated record from DoxAI. Outdated technical figures were included in a client email sequence sent through Oracle Eloqua, which required follow-up correction emails to mitigate misinformation for our external stakeholder. An automated data sync between the two platforms would eliminate this class of human error. Second, its search functionality exhibits noticeable performance degradation when repositories contain large-volume geotechnical attachments, including multi-page lab PDFs and field survey image archives. When our internal compliance group needed to locate a specific subcontractor test submission for a regulatory review last quarter, search query completion took multiple minutes, slowing down our formal review timeline. Our contracted soil‑testing subcontractor sent revised soil test data via email, and those critical files never got transferred over to our shared repository. We remained unaware of the missing submission until merely three days prior to our official permit hand‑in date. Our team had to make urgent calls to the outside lab to recover the correct documentation, and we barely avoided delaying the whole foundation permit process.
