You can call and speak with a knowledgeable person who resolves issues quickly. Rarely have I had to wait for a resolution. Their printable documentation and video instructions are great tools and are easy to understand. **What do you dislike about dotloop?** There's some quirkiness to the product that confuses the average user. Duplicate loops are common when agents share documents during a transaction. This requires extra steps and the know-how to copy documents from one loop to another to maintain a complete file of documents for a transaction. When you accidentally drag a document on top of another when you're trying to reorder them, the document disappears and you have to look through the activity log to locate it. When you upload a PDF document that has any kind of security features enabled, Dotloop will not allow you to download or print the document. The Split Document feature isn't always an option and it's hard to know when you can and cannot split the document into multiple documents. **What problems is dotloop solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dotloop allows us to reduce the paper used and stored in a transaction. We use it to ensure we comply with State License Law regarding required forms. It enables our real estate agents to submit paperwork to our Business Office (Finance Department), which expedites the preparation for closing and payment of the agents. Dotloop allows our agents to share documents electronically and obtain electronic signatures, expediting the sales process. ### 12. There is never any question about what has been executed and what hasn't. I have used other signature programs (that don't have nearly as much functionality) and they're a bit more straight forward when you just need a quick signature on something. It takes the messiness out of emailing documents to multiple people and trying to get them all to sign the same document at the end of the day. This makes end of month clean-up so much easier. At the end of each transaction, the agent can submit the loop to us (admin) for review. Helps everyone feel part of a virtual team! **What do you dislike about dotloop?** The only thing I dislike about Dotloop is once someone in the Loop is a "Team Member" you cannot send items for signatures. For example, if an agent forgot to sign a document I want to be able to add the signature spot and share it to the agent. I am unable to since the agent create the loop and is part of the "Team". **What problems is dotloop solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem we are solving by using Dotloop is document signing. Being able to send documents for electronic signature to a client helps everyone involved (agent and admin). There are many customizations that can be done to contracts, unlike some other programs I have used that try to make the contract too cookie cutter. Having the app really makes all the difference when out and about. Easy to search for files, edit and even have clients sign in person via the app. My team works a lot of short term/seasonal leases and often have to refer back to the lease for move out dates, terms, etc. Dotloop makes searching easy, especially if loops are organized by address. If a client is looking to buy and still undecided, you can also name the loop after the client. Support is also great. They always answer questions and helo work out any kinks if you should find them. At $29 per month, you can’t really go wrong. **What do you dislike about dotloop?** Only downside is the need to refresh the page while waiting for documents to be signed. The notifications seem to be a little slow to tell you when a client has signed when the program is open. Not usually a problem but is something that I have noticed. I was not a fan of the idea that Keller Williams was no longer partnered with Dotloop. At that time, documents had to be downloaded from dotloop and uploaded into our system - a huge time drag. Now that KW has allowed Dotloop to be linked to Command, bringing documents over for compliance is easy! **Recommendations to others considering dotloop:** I highly recommend Dotloop. It is the most seamless and easy to use transaction program I have used. More than just e-signatures, you get document storage, document editing and much more. **What problems is dotloop solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dotloop makes my business run! I have the app on all my devices and its great! My team works a lot of short term/seasonal leases and often have to refer back to the lease for move out dates, terms, etc. Dotloop makes searching easy, especially if loops are organized by address. As a real estate agent, we're all accustomed to reading agreements. I am at fault for not reading the terms in detail. But, any auto-renew for an ANNUAL period is really something someone should explicitly call out. Otherwise, it feels sneaky. I switched brokerages and my new brokerage covers dotloop at no cost to me. I notified Dotloop on November 4 of my need to drop my team account.
