"Documentero: A Huge Time Saver for Clean, Professional Inventory Reports"

What do you like best about Documentero?

We’ve been using Documentero for our company inventory reports and it’s been a huge time saver. We generate both Excel and PDF reports, and everything looks clean and professional every time.

What we really like are the advanced template capabilities — we can build smart Excel templates with formulas and structured layouts, and Documentero fills everything automatically, even long inventory lists that change in size.

It’s simple, reliable, and takes the manual work out of reporting. Highly recommended if you deal with recurring inventory reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Documentero?

If I had to point out one limitation, it’s that you currently can’t switch between online templates and uploaded (.docx/.xlsx) templates within the same workflow. Once you choose one approach, you’re basically committed to it.

What problems is Documentero solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were copying spreadsheets, updating rows, fixing formulas, and exporting to PDF by hand. It was time-consuming and easy to make mistakes. Now, we use structured templates (Excel and Docx), and everything is generated automatically with the correct data in place — including dynamic inventory lists.

The biggest benefit for us is time saved and consistency. Reports are generated in minutes, look professional every time, and we don’t have to worry about broken formulas or formatting errors anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
