Docsumo made it possible for us to switch from a competing OCR/IDP solution very quickly, even with a complex backend. We completed the migration in under one month, which is exceptional for this kind of system. The pricing is very fair and transparent, with a flexible subscription model that does not lock you into long-term contracts for multiple years.

The OCR quality is strong: field recognition and mapping work very reliably, especially for structured documents like invoices. A particularly useful feature is the ability to validate and map extracted data against master data tables.

One missing feature for us is the ability to run custom code actions directly triggered by events with a full event payload. While this would be very useful, we were still able to implement our required workflows using webhooks as a workaround.

In terms of OCR, there are occasional character confusions (for example 0 vs O or 1 vs I), but this mostly happens on scanned, non-digital PDFs and is expected to some degree.
