What do you like best about DHTMLX UI?

- Feature-completeness from day one — drag-and-drop, recurring events, multiple views, custom event rendering. All the things we'd otherwise have spent months building ourselves.

- Genuine customisability. We've been able to skin it, extend event templates, and integrate it tightly with our PHP/JS stack without fighting the framework.

- Performance with real-world data volumes. Consultants have busy diaries and the calendar stays responsive.

What do you dislike about DHTMLX UI?

Honestly, my gripes are fairly minor and mostly the flip side of working with a mature, comprehensive suite. Mobile and touch UX, particularly on the Scheduler, is at its best on desktop. What problems is DHTMLX UI solving and how is that benefiting you?

At its core, DHTMLX solves the build-vs-buy problem on UI components that are deceptively complex. We're a small team building a vertical SaaS for medical consultants in Ireland — every week we'd spend reinventing a scheduler or a data grid is a week we're not building the clinical workflow that actually differentiates our product.
