What do you like best about DeviQA?

They understood that changing frameworks is not just about rewriting test syntax. They cleaned up brittle patterns, reworked the underlying test architecture, and made sure Playwright was properly integrated into our existing infrastructure. Their engineers were comfortable working through edge cases and debugging issues across the full stack, not only inside the test code. What do you dislike about DeviQA?

We did not encounter any major issues. A few infrastructure-heavy parts required additional alignment, but that was expected given the number of dependencies involved. Recommendations to others considering DeviQA:

Bring DeviQA in before making the key migration decisions, especially if your Cypress setup is heavily customized. Give them visibility into the CI pipeline, environment configuration, test data, and internal integrations. They are particularly well suited to migrations where a simple framework swap is not enough and the underlying automation architecture also needs to be cleaned up. What problems is DeviQA solving and how is that benefiting you?

DeviQA helped us migrate our end-to-end automation suite from Cypress to Playwright. This was not a straightforward one-to-one port. Our test infrastructure is fairly complex, with multiple environments, custom configurations, CI dependencies, shared test data, and internal tooling tied into the existing setup. The team first mapped the dependencies and identified which parts could be migrated as-is and which needed to be redesigned.
