What do you like best about Designcenter X?

The user interface is a major advantage. It provides a consistent workflow across modules, which makes it easy to move smoothly from one machine to another. Overall, it’s straightforward to understand and comes with a minimal learning curve. I also appreciate that it integrates well with other programs. What do you dislike about Designcenter X?

NX CAM is, without a doubt, the best CAD/CAM software. It’s very easy to use and, in my experience, it surpasses other programs—I haven’t found anything quite like it elsewhere. I also appreciate that it includes clear instructions for using the different tools, which makes it easier to get started and work efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Designcenter X solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use NX CAM for the design, simulation, and structural analysis of parts. It helps us build machine models and complete jobs in less time. It also provides real-time simulation for both product design and machining, which makes it easier to validate our work as we go. Toolpath generation has been significantly optimized as well, and I appreciate that it preserves the simplest toolpaths for cases where a full model isn’t necessary.
