Macropoint tracking helps keep track of our shipments. It keeps our customers assured that we are being resposible with their freight, and validates any accessorial claims that we submit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Descartes MacroPoint? Macropoint will occassionally disconnect in remote parts of the country. Mountain ranges, and areas with low population denisty can cause connection to time out. However, these interruptions are being supplemented by their new ELD integration. If you have a lot of new employees that you be using this software, they should have no issues getting comfortable with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Descartes MacroPoint solving and how is that benefiting you? It lets us have honest communication with our carriers. We know that when a dispatcher calls in saying a driver has been waiting for 8 hours to unload, all we have to do is check MacroPoint to verify the story.
