What do you like best about Descartes Customs & Compliance Suite?

I love the almost personalized support. It seems like the same tech support rep answers my questions or troubleshoots technical issues each time. What originally attracted me and my company to the product was the ability to upload large files of entry data to save time instead of having to spend hours manually entering individual lines. I like that weekly and sometimes daily updates are listed on the Resources landing page. It keeps you up to date on the newest features available. Pricing was important and I would say the price we pay for the service we receive is definitely a plus and far below what most other providers are charging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Descartes Customs & Compliance Suite?

The speed and overall performance is sometimes lacking. Tech support can sometimes be slow or not even notify users when the servers have to be rebooted or taken down due to a system wide issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Descartes Customs & Compliance Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have multiple clients that send large shipments of spare parts, with many part numbers and multiple HTS numbers. Having the built in part number database and the invoice upload capability improved our workflow on these accounts immeasurably. Before we could spend 6-8 hours typing in a single shipment line by line. Now we can simply enter the part numbers, or the HTS, or a combination of the 2 on the upload spreadsheet and have the whole process complete in far less time.
