I like how seamless direct-session launching and credential injection are with Delinea Secret Server, as users can connect to RDP or SSH servers without seeing or typing the actual admin password. It’s super user-friendly compared to older tools, and the automated password rotation gives us peace of mind knowing credentials are always up to date. I also appreciate the centralization of credentials in a secure vault, the automated password rotations, and the session recording and audit logs that make passing compliance checks easier. The interface is much more user-friendly than our previous solution, and the lower overall cost while providing robust PAM features and compliance capabilities is a big plus. Lastly, the core installation and basic domain integration during setup were relatively straightforward and much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI can occasionally feel a bit cluttered and overwhelming because of how deep the feature settings go, so there's definitely a slight learning curve for new admins. Additionally, setting up custom scripts or complex integrations can require extra tweaking. Streamlining the navigation and making advanced custom configurations a bit more straightforward would make it even better. Custom PowerShell and Bash scripts for non-standard target systems—like legacy databases or niche web applications—require quite a bit of manual setup for password changers and heartbeat checks. Integrating third-party ticketing platforms or custom SIEM pipelines can also take extra troubleshooting. I'd like to see pre-built integration templates, easier visual debugging for custom script execution, and simplified REST API hooks to speed up these setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
