I use Deixis every day, on both my Windows computers and my Android phone. I'm gradually moving away from typing and using my voice for more of my work.
On Windows, I dictate notes, emails, Teams messages and instructions when working with AI. I also use the screenshot feature regularly, which has largely replaced my old copy of Snagit.
On Android, I use it while working around a hospital. I dictate descriptions of issues reported by staff, then copy the text into support tickets. I also use a Bluetooth earpiece and a shortcut on my smartwatch to capture ideas while walking the dogs, without taking my phone out of my pocket.
Meeting recording and transcription are useful too. I recently tested the improved Android transcription with a 90-minute meeting, and an initial review of the transcript looked good.
I also appreciate how responsive the developer has been. I've shared feedback and seen several suggestions make their way into the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing significant at this stage. I'm still learning how to make the most of it and building dictation into more of my daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
