While the core HRIS is free, many useful features (like advanced performance management, compensation benchmarking, or IT device management) require monthly per-user add-on fees that bloat the final invoice.

You become a more attractive employer. If you can offer a developer in Argentina the ability to take their pay in USD or Crypto via a Deel Card, you will win that talent over a competitor who can only offer a standard local bank deposit.

**What do you like best about Deel Payroll?**

This is my second time using Deel to receive payments. Submitting expenses is extremely easy, and since it already integrates with my bank, I don't have to manually process the payment when I receive it.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

I haven't noticed any downsides so far; the platform is genuinely helpful and very easy to use.

**What problems is Deel Payroll solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been with the same company for three years, and we've been using Deel for the past six months. Receiving my salary has never been easier. Before Deel, I had to manually create an invoice, use an American intermediary account to get paid, and then transfer the money to my Brazilian account. Now, with Deel, all I need to do is submit my travel expenses through the platform and receive my salary directly in my Brazilian account.

**What do you like best about Deel Payroll?**

I use Deel for my payroll, and it has been an efficient payroll service provider. It's so easy to use, and the advance payslips are amazing. I like how easy it is to navigate and view things such as contracts, upcoming payments, and payslips. But I love how it processes my payroll or salary in a timely manner. It's definitely helpful to see contracts, upcoming payments, and payslips, especially since I am an independent contractor. Whenever I need those things, I can easily go and download them from Deel. The initial setup of Deel was so easy!

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

I do not dislike deel at all. In fact, I like it so much. But, I think it should be a bank as well like wise. And it can offer less fees for transfer or conversion. So it would be more convenient. Just more opportunities and growth for deel.

Deel provides an efficient and easy payroll service with advanced payslips. It simplifies navigation for contracts and payments. As an independent contractor, I easily download documents for bank loans.

The downside is that they have a very secure system, and no one except you can access it. But that’s the whole point, right? Security is everything!

I like that Deel Payroll is simple to use and generally available. I can transfer funds directly into my bank account in my country. It's just simple, the way it integrates with my bank account. It's still a great option.

I like how they keep updating with the technology nowadays for 2025.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

I’ve had an incredibly disappointing experience with Deel HR’s customer service since day one. I have continued to stay with Deel giving them the benefit doubt. It takes over two weeks to resolve even basic tasks like reviewing a contract. I submitted a termination contract, and instead of it being processed immediately—as it should be since I run the company—it went into a review queue with the message: “Deel team will review.” Why is Deel reviewing a termination I initiated for my own employee?

When I reached out for support, I was asked to provide a screen recording—which felt like a stall tactic rather than a genuine attempt to help since it has been over a full week not and not employees haven't got paid due to payroll being "PROCESSING" for over 2 weeks. The lack of urgency and ownership from their support team is unacceptable, especially when payroll and HR decisions are time sensitive.

I’ve decided to leave Deel and switch to a more responsive HRIS platform, most likely Gusto, which I’ve heard offers better support and more control for business owners.
If you’re a growing company that values efficiency and autonomy, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I live in the dominican republic, so finding a company that can handle my international payments and transfer them into a local bank of my choosing without it being an absolute headache is just amazing!

I receive all my payments now from deel, and with the autowithdrawal enabled, my payments are transfered to my bank instantly.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

Theres not a thing to dislike from DEEL so far, I just  wish I had discovered it earlier.

Receiving payments from an US based company as an International employee. Hassle free, fast, no huge comissions for handling the transfer and very easy to set up.

I love Deel's advance payment feature very much. Sometimes, my salary alone doesn't cover all expenses until the month's end, so being able to get my salary in advance through Deel, with low interest, is something I really appreciate. It helps me improve my financial situation step by step. Also, setting up Deel was really easy, a piece of cake, even a kid can do it.

Sometimes, the design and the load time of each icon when clicked or pressed could be improved.

Setting up Deel Payroll was extremely easy, and overall, it does a great job of handling my payroll and contract needs.

I think it's a very organized, clear, and easy to use system. I've never had any issues with it, and I always receive important updates via email and payments on time.

I don't currently think there's anything about Deel that isn't good and needs improvement.

What I like best about Deel is how it simplifies global hiring, payroll, and compliance in one platform. It allows companies to hire, pay, and manage remote employees or contractors across multiple countries without worrying about local tax laws or labor regulations.

While Deel is an excellent platform, one thing I dislike is that some processes, like multi-country compliance verification or certain banking setups, can take longer than expected.

At times, currency exchange fluctuations or local bank delays may slightly impact payment timing for international contractors. Additionally, with so many features, new users might feel a bit overwhelmed until they become familiar with the platform

I like that Deel offers so many options for transferring money to my local account. It makes it easier for me to decide how to send my payments and how much I want to transfer to each bank account. I also appreciate that I can use the Deel card and Deel Advance, which helps me a lot during difficult times.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

I don’t think there’s anything I really dislike. If I had to mention one thing, it would be the high fee for sending money directly to my bank account in Colombia.

It doesn’t allow bank details from USA. Sometimes we prefer to receive the money in US dollars than our current currency.

Additionally, there's a missing feature with the Deel card—I cannot accept payments from external sources. Currently, I'm only able to receive payments from my employer. It would be beneficial if I could also accept transfers or payments directly from other individuals or external sources.

Finance receipt and withdrawal are relatively fast, but I think it is more comfortable for an employer in the first place.

Verification problems - it refused to accept my national passport - that is the biggest peeve! I had to use a foreign passport but not sure it is a long-term option and how to proceed further. Also somewhat limited choice of bank accounts/payment systems depending on the currency (for certain currencies some payment systems/banks are available, and if I change the currency - they are not available).

As a global payroll platform, it perfectly solves the most persistent and frustrating payment collection issues faced in remote work.  The Withdrawal feature is particularly noteworthy; the entire process is exceptionally smooth and intuitive, supporting multiple withdrawal methods and currencies, which makes fund transfers simple and highly efficient.  Furthermore, Deel’s Onboarding process is designed to be highly user-centric. Account setup is extremely simple, allowing quick adoption with virtually no learning curve.  Overall, Deel has significantly simplified my administrative tasks, drastically boosting my work efficiency and overall experience. If 10 is the highest score, I would unhesitatingly give it a 10 out of 10, and strongly recommend it to anyone dealing with cross-border payroll.

As a contractor, Deel gives me a wide choice of withdrawal methods - swift payment, ACH or crypto. I can choose a combination of them too. So if I have to change the withdrawal method at some point I don't have to nag the financial department about that.

It also offers a simple and straightforward onboarding process with all steps known in advance.

On top of that Deel offers free tax consultancy, although you have to stay in a waitlist for that. I didn't use it personally but the idea is certainly great.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

I already had an account at Deel as AI trainer when I got the offer from current workplace. For some reason deel didn't let me to have both contracts under the same account so I ended up having 2 accounts - one for each contract.

**What problems is Deel Payroll solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It also allows generating invoices out of the box, and offers great flexibility. On top of my base salary deel let me generate invoices for bonuses or extra expenses. I don't have to use an external solution for that.

I am truly impressed by how Deel communicates with its clients. In particular, Deel consistently provides timely updates throughout the different stages of the payment process. Clients are informed from the moment their payment is approved, through processing, the expected waiting period, and finally when their funds are ready for withdrawal. This level of communication fosters a strong sense of trust and convenience, which may not always be found with other payment platforms.

Deel offers clients the ability to receive advance payments once certain criteria are met. However, I believe Deel could enhance this feature by allowing clients to repay the advanced amount at any time with a simple click, instead of requiring them to wait until the advance reaches its maturity date.
