As a Data Analyst, what I value most about DbSchema is its offline-first, interactive ER diagram designer and its schema synchronization tools. It lets me visually explore complex relational database schemas (such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL) and quickly understand table relationships without having to write lengthy documentation queries. The visual query builder and relational data editor also save me a lot of time when analyzing client datasets, reviewing data structures, and tracing foreign key dependencies across tables. The user interface feels a bit traditional and dated compared to newer cloud tools. When working with exceptionally large databases that have hundreds of tables, ER diagram rendering in the layout editor can show minor lag. Also, the process of setting up custom dark-mode themes could be more seamless and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
