We make a bot-free AI notetaker, so our whole team is pretty allergic to anything that adds friction to meetings and networking. That was the bar we used when choosing a digital card tool.
We go to a few big conferences every year (SaaStr Annual, Web Summit), and DBC has fully replaced paper cards for us. Someone scans the QR code and instantly has your details. They don’t need to install anything, which matters a lot when you’re standing in a loud expo hall trying to keep things moving. Getting the whole team set up took about 15 minutes. Everyone’s card looks consistent and on-brand, and since half of us are in different cities, being able to update someone’s title without reprinting a whole box of cards is honestly underrated. At the moment, the card only supports a static photo, and we’d really like the option to use a short video instead. A quick intro clip in that spot would be ideal for conference use. From what we understand, the team is already working on adding this, so it’s not really a complaint - more of a feature request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
