"Great policy management tool for a small business"

What do you like best about Dayspring?

The interface is intuitive and modern, and it was very straightforward to get our policies onto the platform and the workflows set up without any compliance expertise or implementation period. As a small business, without dedicated in-house compliance expertise and an IT team to manage software implementations, this has been really helpful.

In terms of the platform itself and what it does, it's replaced a very painful set of manual processes: chasing staff acknowledgements of policies via Microsoft Teams, taking screenshots as evidence, manually updating version history tables in Word documents, and setting Outlook reminders to follow-up with staff who haven't reviewed policies and reminders to review policies each year. Dayspring now handles all of that automatically which is saving us a significant amount of time and effort, whilst still ensuring that we can produce the evidence of policy governance our clients want. What do you dislike about Dayspring?

As an early customer, we have occasionally identified areas where we'd like additional functionality, but the Dayspring team has been responsive and receptive to feedback, and it's clear the platform is being actively developed with new features, functionality and improvements made each week. What problems is Dayspring solving and how is that benefiting you?

We work with a lot of enterprise and regulated customers, and our policy governance as a supplier to these businesses has come up more and more regularly over the years, whether in RFIs, requests to upload our policies to customer portals annually, or most recently, on-site audits where our customers have asked to see all our policies, understand who is responsible for managing each policy, what changed between versions and why, and evidence that staff are aware of and understand our policies. We needed a solution, but something that would be affordable, that all our team could use easily, and that wouldn't be a burden for us to maintain.

Dayspring has delivered on all of those things. It gives us evidence that our policies are properly managed with dedicated owners, up to date, reviewed on a schedule, with a clear record of what changed between versions and why, and proof that our staff have not only seen them but agreed to them. Now, when we're asked, we can easily find all our policies in one hub and produce time-stamped reports rather than a folder of pieced together evidence. It's saved our administrators a lot of time, whilst also helping our team be more aware of our policies, so our attention goes on compliance itself, not the admin busywork around it.
