I appreciate the depth of configurability that Datagrip offers, as no other IDE provider allows such comprehensive customization. Full access to the database is particularly valuable, as I can easily delete outdated tables as an administrator and manage my database efficiently. The performance of the IDE is remarkable, making it an overall very powerful solution. Datagrip was recommended to me, and since then I have used it in all companies for SQL work and have always insisted on using it, even when I had to work with other IDEs. The setup is quick and overall easy, even if you initially need support from experienced engineers. I am particularly thrilled that with a single click you can format your queries exactly as you wish, which can greatly simplify the work. This makes Datagrip the best solution on the market for me. I use it for prototyping pipelines and ad hoc analyses because I greatly appreciate the simplicity and efficiency it offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The menu, the navigation is very unusual and could be optimized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Datagrip has a lot of cool and interesting features but the one I found the most exciting was data visualization. I found Datagrip to be by far the best tool to generate database diagrams.
Another very interesting feature is the visualization of results of Explain and Analyze which makes it very easy to see the troublesome parts of your query and consequently helps improving the query performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Generally there isn't much to dislike about the software however, since it is a paid tool, in the end it all comes down to weighing between free tool vs a couple of extra features. The extra features, in my opinion, however cool they are, are not worth spending the buck especially if writing queries is not your main job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The UI is absolutely easy to use and navigate
- It segments different queries into blocks in the same file to be run individually
- The AI tool has great auto-complete feature makes it really easy to write SQL Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much to dislike about DataGrip. One suggestion however, would be to make editor settings easily accessible to modify for the users. RIght now it is a bit difficult to find even the editor settings to make trivial changes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were using SQL Yog and switched to Datagrip. I like that I do not need to use Putty with Datagrip like I did with SQL Yog. I also like that Datagrip allows for multiple connections to various servers and dbs and schemas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the layout is very confusing at first and even though I have been using it for a few months it is still confusing at times. More options to customize the layout would be great, though maybe the option exists, but i cant find it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really enjoy the ease of using datagrip. I've found that it's ability to distinguish queries and present a clean interface are unbeat. I like to think of datagrip like Apple versus Samsung, with Apple presenting the cleaner, simpler product (Datagrip) versus Samsungs complex and powerful options, but ultimately confusing for the average user (competitors). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've found that datagrip lacks behind other competitors only in the speed they release new updates. For example, dBeaver offers rapid updates including things like AI modeling that are only half built out. On the other hand, Datagrip makes sure that everything is fully baked and tested before release, making for a easier and cleaner user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can manage many database systems without the need for other software. It connects to MySQL, MariaDB, Mongo, Oracle, Redis, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Cockroach, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does not have a free tier, but it is worth the money if you use it every day. The Mongo integration is not super powerful, but good enough. Also, it may be a little slow to start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The SQL quick suggestions for table names and neat interface is the best part. Also on hovering over the table name, you can see the ddl. Its better than dbeaver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like how it doesn't automatically refresh the DDL of all the tables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Datagrip has a Userfriendly interface. It supports many databases like SQL, MYSQL etc. It helps in writing queries efficiently without having to download multiple databases in local machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it crashes. But is not often. Other than that I didn't find anything to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
