What do you like best about DataCore SANsymphony?

Datacore Sansymphony allows fast access to your storage and you can aggregate all your old storage bays. It can replicate your data between servers in other rooms or sites. Failover, replication, and failback are easy to use and completely transparent for users in production. Integration with vSphere is very easy and replicated connections are well managed. What do you dislike about DataCore SANsymphony?

The console is not user-friendly, I prefer web-based administration in HTML5. An update came with the last version. It's better but not very user-friendly for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering DataCore SANsymphony:

Check beforehand what you really need to put in fast storage and what can go in cold storage in your organization. Datacore is a good solution but for applications that need fast access, for archive Datacore is expensive. After installing Datacore, let it work and take a coffee. What problems is DataCore SANsymphony solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our database applications were slow with big queries, now users can easily work on BI applications. After all, Datacore is not very expensive, support contracts with other storage providers are expensive too. For the storage bay, you can use what you want, a Lenovo disk is not expensive like a NetApp one. VMs backups are improved too (but better integration with Veeam would be fine).
