Recommendations to others considering Data Platform:

Always look at the ecosystem when implementing. Don't look at day 1 as your success criteria, formulate a plan, work the plan and drive towards maturity in a well structured effort involving collaboration and coordination. What problems is Data Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

Product lifecycle oriented issues, capacity planning use cases, validation of other platforms, solving process related issues through governance mismanagement such as imaging desktops improperly. For larger ecosystems, the tool provides a key role in defining an all round source of truth and enrichment which reduces this risk and burden from executing data normalization in a distributed manner.
