What do you like best about Dance Studio Pro?

DSP is user friendly and very easy to navigate. Simple tasks of classes, tuition, seasons are at your finger tips. It’s an affordable monthly fee compared to other softwares. They continue to implement changes based on user feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dance Studio Pro?

Customizing classes, tuition, “if-then” exceptions are difficult. If your studio isn’t the same across the board, it may become hard to opt out certain classes, routines, students from fees, emails, etc. it seems that many communications are an all-in or all-out task. It would help if you could be more selective in and able to go to a deeper level excluded clients from certain communications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Dance Studio Pro:

It is a great option when starting out or opening a studio from the bottom up. Still determining if it’s the right solution as our studio grows and gains clientele Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Dance Studio Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our biggest issue was tuition, and DSP has made it easy to auto-charge clients. They have also made it easier to copy clients and classes from year to year without having to input and double work on inputting information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dance Studio Pro?

You can put in minimum and max age for students. I like that you can print rosters for your classes and have access to parent and emergency contacts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dance Studio Pro?

The user interface is not as clean as Mind body. I have trouble finding past events. I dont like that people can reserve and sign up for a workshop w/o paying for it. I have trouble seeing who has paid and who hasn't without going into each students history. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Dance Studio Pro:

I have not heard of any clients having trouble with DSP. However for one of the workshops I taught, I had an age requirement of 9. A parent who had a 9 year old was unable to register her son who was 9. We changed his age in order to register online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dance Studio Pro?

As an administrator, this makes keeping track of students easy. Adding and removing children from classes takes no effort and sending mass emails to parents is great too! As a parent who uses it too, the parent access is handy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dance Studio Pro?

It would be wonderful if you could print out class rosters easily or if I could take the data and transfer it to a spreadsheet or Word document. Would make other parts of my job much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
