I use daily.dev to keep up with the world of software engineering. As a CS lecturer, it is essential for me to keep up with industry practices, and daily.dev is a great help with that. It keeps me up to date with what is going on and gives me ideas for discussions with my classes on software engineering practices. I like that it curates a really wide set of topics that I have always found interesting and relevant. It helps me understand the hype from the reality and communicate that to my students in a way that is relevant to them. It works, and I like it. daily.dev is my go-to for general media now. I had no problem getting started, and I can subscribe to topics like Java or JavaScript. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I see comments from users that try to bring a political dimension to the discussion, and I think maybe those should be filtered out. We are devs trying to get by; we don’t need political opinions. But it’s very infrequent, so I don’t see it as a problem, to be honest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
