**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about D4H?**

For incident management, D4H strikes a strong balance between usability and flexibility. It enables teams to respond quickly and consistently to incidents, while also offering the customization needed to reflect organizational structures, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices. This combination makes it a valuable tool for organizations seeking both efficiency and adaptability in their emergency response operations.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

Initial learning curve required but necessary in order to accommodate desired customisations.

D4H provides a consolidated space for incident management, offering centralized oversight and structured playbooks that can be applied across a wide range of events — whether cybersecurity, environmental, health, safety, or other operational scenarios.
This unified approach ensures consistency, preparedness, and rapid coordination regardless of the type of incident.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

  ### 6. D4H does it all

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

D4H is the software that we decided upon when Mission Manager left us high and dry with a very short notice regarding it's end of service. We formed a committee and looked at various solutions and this seemed like the best solution to our needs.
We use it for:
Tracking Attendance at trainings and events,
Monitoring our required training expiration dates,
Group-wide Calendar of upcoming events, with the ability to acknowledge your plans to attend,
Equipment tracking and inventory,
Incident data capture with the activity Log and Roles tracking,
Fully customizable checklists that can be assigned to personnel in various Roles,
Importing your member names into Incident Manager so that your drop-down menu shows only those personnel who have responded,
many, many other uses that I have just forgotten.

Their customer support is FANTASTIC. I have gotten responses very quickly and they were quite knowledgeable about what they are working on.

It took a bit of time getting everything set up the way we want (and we aren't done yet), but that is because it is SO flexible and customizable. I wasn't planning on even looking at the Equipment Management portion, but we received some new equipment and had to get it inventoried before it was deployed. That too was quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

When I have asked Tech Support about improvements that I would like to see, they usually tell me that I am not alone in asking about those issues. I just wish they could get these new improvements rolled out a bit faster. (former programmer, I realize there are only so many hours in a day.)

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are receiving donations of used Handheld radios from several local Police and Fire departments. These radios sell on E-bay for close to $2,000.00 each. We can now track them by serial number and who they are assigned to. We are also tracking our member's qualifications and training expiration dates.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you so much for a fantastic review! It’s great to hear how flexible and customizable you’ve found D4H, and we’re especially proud to hear your praise for our customer support team!

Thanks for your feedback on feature updates too, this input really helps shape our improvements.

  ### 7. Excellent program and resource for our SAR unit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Enforcement | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2021

**What do you like best about D4H?**

Continues to be quality and put out even more than we expect!

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

Interface can always be simplified and the reporting system for year end items could be more user friendly

**Recommendations to others considering D4H:**

D4H has lots of options; make sure it meets your criteria and does not go overboard. I love it for our SAR tracking and can see it in use for several different mission types.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of each member's accomplishments and requirements is enormous. Also, the mission count for the year coupled with trainings and meetings be separated is priceless.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for your honest review! Great to hear D4H is working well for your SAR team.

  ### 8. Easy to get started with

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Micah B. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

It took very little to get my team up and running in D4H. With only a couple hours of work I had our personnel imported into the system using the D4H import tool, and had our basic training and incident reports up and running.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

I wish the apps allowed for more. The ability to take attendance at a training event, or start an incident report would be beneficial.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

D4H allowed us to combine multiple Google Forms and other "group organizer apps" into one specific, mission center platform to conduct our team's bisuness. it quickly allowed us to generate clean professional incident reports for our agency cooperators and track statistics that we couldn't see before without excessive spreadsheet work.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with getting your team up and running in D4H, Micah! We understand your feedback about the apps and are working to enhance this.

  ### 9. Great product, but French translation is incomplete.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Recreational Facilities and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

The several modules integrated into D4H and the Help Center

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

The French Translation is not complete or accurate at some places.
We can not easily add several periods under one activity.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to manage all of our members information, trainings and competencies.
The ability to extract the data from D4H.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for your review!

We’re working to improve our language support and appreciate the feedback.

Regarding multiple periods under an activity, it’s currently possible to record multiple attendance periods, though we recognise this may not meet all operational workflows. This is an area we’re actively reviewing based on customer feedback.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience.

  ### 10. D4H provides all the back office functions so we can focus on training and attending incidents.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about D4H?**

We are a small volunteer search and rescue K9 team that needs to adopt the administrative functions of a much larger organisation to deliver a quality professional service. This requires us to maintain long term continuity and consistency of our management systems using an integrated system such as D4H.

D4H handles everything we need for the day to day management of our members, K9s, inventory and incidents across a single platform. This frees us up to focus on training and effectively deploying our SAR capability.

The features we get the most from are:
-	Day to day access using web browser or mobile app
-	Dashboard accessible by all our members to view upcoming events and our overall readiness status
-	Simple, secure maintenance of our members’ personal information
-	Managing and updating qualifications, including expiry alerts
-	Separate modules for maintaining K9 details
-	Simple update by members of their on call status
-	Integration with third party apps to manage call out notifications and attendance reporting
-	Capture of key information relating to incidents we have responded to
-	Easy management of equipment issue to members, returns and stock control
-	Flexible reports in spreadsheet format.

**What do you dislike about D4H?**

We do occasionally have login issues with both the browser and mobile app versions. We have found that these are usually best left to the help desk to resolve and this is usually handled very promptly.

**What problems is D4H solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small volunteer team and do not have a lot of time to devote to administration. As well as the day to day management of training and incidents, D4H always sits in the background looking out for the less glamorous stuff like qualification expiries and kit inspections.

**Official Response from Amy Brennan:**

> Thank you for a great review! It's great to hear how D4H has streamlined your team's admin tasks.
