What do you like best about Cyber Resilience Tracker?

My experience with the CRT platform has been very positive, particularly when using it to help organizations prepare for CMMC assessments and manage their ongoing compliance efforts. One of the features I find most valuable is the ability to establish a baseline and then track progress over time. I’ve also found the Policy Manager useful for maintaining documentation and revision history, while the risk analysis capabilities help clients better understand their data and risk landscape.

I also appreciate that CRT goes beyond assessment preparation and supports ongoing compliance management. Activities such as tabletop exercises and periodic reviews can be tracked within the platform, with reminders when recurring requirements are coming due. This helps organizations think about compliance as an ongoing process rather than simply preparing for a point-in-time assessment.

Another strength, particularly for organizations managing multiple compliance obligations, is the ability to work with frameworks such as CMMC and ISO within the same platform and see how requirements across those frameworks relate to common controls. What do you dislike about Cyber Resilience Tracker?

There are a few areas of the platform that I find could be more flexible and user-friendly. Within the assessor tools, some of the fields can feel restrictive in terms of how information can be entered or documented. I would appreciate more flexibility in certain areas to better accommodate different assessment scenarios and workflows. I’ve also found that some of the drop-down menus can be difficult to navigate, particularly when working through larger sets of options. These are relatively minor usability issues, but improving them would make the platform more efficient and intuitive to work with. To enhance the user experience, I recommend implementing more flexible input fields within the assessor tools to accommodate various assessment scenarios. Additionally, improving the navigation of drop-down menus, especially for larger option sets, would greatly benefit users. Cyber Resilience Tracker helps me bring many different aspects of a client’s compliance journey into one centralized platform. It allows me to establish a baseline, track remediation progress, manage documentation, evaluate risk, and monitor recurring compliance activities without relying on multiple disconnected tools. This gives me better visibility into where each client stands and helps me more clearly demonstrate their progress toward assessment readiness. The ability to manage and map multiple compliance frameworks is also valuable when clients have requirements beyond CMMC. From a consulting perspective, CRT helps create a more structured and repeatable process for managing client engagements.
