What do you like best about Curriculum Genie?

What I like best about Curriculum Genie is that it helps teachers create high-quality, standards-aligned instructional materials without replacing their professional judgment. Instead of generating generic lessons, it allows educators to customize learning experiences that fit their students while saving significant planning time. I also appreciate its focus on sound instructional design, flexibility across grade levels and content areas, and its ability to support student-centered approaches like small-group instruction, UDL, and inquiry-based learning. What do you dislike about Curriculum Genie?

My biggest frustration is that some workflows still require more clicks and manual adjustments than I'd like, especially when iterating on lessons or moving between different planning components. I also think there are opportunities to make the AI more aware of a teacher's existing curriculum and preferred instructional frameworks so it can produce even more tailored outputs. What problems is Curriculum Genie solving and how is that benefiting you?

Curriculum Genie solves one of the biggest challenges educators face: designing cohesive, standards-aligned units that build learning over time without spending countless hours planning. Rather than generating isolated lesson plans, it helps create complete instructional units with aligned learning targets, assessments, activities, and instructional supports that connect from lesson to lesson. This saves a tremendous amount of planning time while resulting in more intentional, coherent instruction. As someone who designs professional learning and supports teachers across multiple districts, it also allows me to model strong unit design and demonstrate how AI can be used to enhance thoughtful instructional planning instead of replacing the expertise of educators.
