**What do you like best about Creo?**

Creo has been a huge upgrade for how our team manages complex, multi-part projects. The generative design tools we  explore dozens of structurally optimized part variants in the time it used to take to model one by hand, which has been a game-changer for weight reduction and material efficiency. Advanced simulation is built right in, so we can validate stress, thermal, and motion behavior without bouncing between separate software  that alone has saved us weeks on validation cycles.
The multi-CAD interoperability is probably the standout feature for us. Our field crews and partner teams work across different CAD ecosystems, and Creo handles imported geometry from other platforms cleanly, without the usual headaches of broken features or geometry repair.

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

The learning curve is real for new users, especially coming from more entry-level tools the depth of features means onboarding takes longer than we’d like.

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps our big, complicated projects from falling apart. When we got assemblies with thousands of parts, Creo doesn’t choke or slow to a crawl like some of the lighter tools do. It also plays nice with files from other CAD software, so our field crews and outside partners can share work without constant fixing and reformatting. And the built-in simulation means i catch design problems early  before they turn into expensive mistakes on-site.

**What do you like best about Creo?**

The parametric modelling feature and 2D drawing.

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

The visualisation of the 3D parts in the software and selection of working directory before working everytime.

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creo is using for Product design. I'm using it for Tool design and it enables me to make tools faster  than on other available softwares. Its RELATIONS feature under Tools is very useful while working in assemblies. It allows to create 2D drawings also that saves money to buy a separate software for same.

**What do you like best about Creo?**

What i appreciate most about creo is how it feels like the only cad tool that invites you to think structurally rather than just draw shapes. when i am building something complex, Creo does not jsut give me features it give me a sense of engineering discipline. the system almost nudges me into designing things the right way with clean dependencies, predictable behavior and a kind of geometric honesty.

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

what frustrates me most about creo is that it sometimes feels like it was designed by engineers who assume everyone else thinks exactly like them. Small actions like tweaking a feature or switching a constraint can feel heavier than they should, as if you are negotiating with software instead of simply editing a model.

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creo solves a very specific problem for me: it brings order to design that would otherwise collapse under their own complexity. When i am working on something with layers of features,dependencies and motion, Creo behaves like the one person in the room who can keep track of everything without losing focus. It turns scattered ideas, rough sketches and half formed concepts into a clea parametric structure that actually makes sense.

**What do you like best about Creo?**

what i truly appreciate about creo is how it blends mechanical precision with design freedom in a way few CAD tools manage. it feels engineered not just for creating models,but for understanding how those models behave in the real world. the parametric system is powerful once you define relationships between components, creo remembers them like a silent collaborator, keeping the entire design logically consistent even after multiple revisions.

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

what i find challenging about creo is that its depth can sometimes feels like a maze. Every feature is powerful,but that power comes with layers of menus, settings and workflows that take time to truly master. it is almost as if creo assumes you already think like a seasoned engineer before you even start using it.

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

creo solves the problem of turning complex mechanical ideas in to  manufacturable reality with mathematical precision. it brings the gap between imagination and engineering constraints allowing me to explore designs freely while keeping every dimension,tolerance and motion logically tied together.

**What do you like best about Creo?**

Creo's robust parametric modeling and routing features enable me to efficiently design and modify wiring harnesses, brackets, and assemblies. Implementing design changes is straightforward, and updates are automatically reflected across all related parts and drawings, which saves time and helps minimize errors. Additionally, Creo manages complex assemblies effectively and integrates seamlessly with Windchill, ensuring proper version control and facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams.

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

From my experience, when working with large powertrain and vehicle-level assemblies, I have observed that performance can slow down and regeneration times become longer, which impacts productivity. One major issue I’ve experienced is that when a fatal error occurs, fixing or recovering from it can erase all recent updates if the assembly was not saved, leading to loss of work and rework effort.

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creo helps me manage complex wiring harness and bracket designs and implement changes efficiently. For example, when a bracket location changed due to clearance or vibration issues, I could quickly update the model and reroute the harness, with changes automatically reflected in the assembly and drawings, reducing rework and fitment issues.

**What do you like best about Creo?**

Creos use of parametric modelling is extremely efficient, allowing for easy modelling adjustments while situated within an assembly. The interface is very good also, and the ability to implement new addons such as ansys directly into the software makes using it everyday extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

Sometimes if systems are not modelled correctly there will be complex reference loops which are tricky to solve, and again if poor modelling has been implemented, the system can crash regularly.

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use creo everyday, it allows me to easily implement design changes in a variety of projects quickly, without having to mess around finding each sub level to the model.

**What do you like best about Creo?**

Once you learn the UI, CREO has a relatively easy workflow for developing parts and assemblies and making adjustments. I like the functionality of Windchill in company environment it makes it easy to access models that are used by multiple people within the same company.

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

I wish that when starting a sketch you could view the scale of the window before you sketch a line so that you are close to the size you need when drawing your first sketch.

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a Manufacturing Launch Engineer so I use it to develop assembly fixtures and understand how new products fit together prior to having a physical part. I have also used it for programing part modifications on our CNC machine using the Manufacturing Workbench, which works pretty well.

**What do you like best about Creo?**

I have used creo for almost 6 years professionally and more than that in my college days. It is really good, as I have used other CAD softwares as well, so I would tell that in Creo - I used to like that Repeat command to repeat the last part in assembly mode also, to create family tree of a part to add an instance, it was really very very easy.

**What do you dislike about Creo?**

As it is very parametric, so it needs references everytime you create something, mostly when an assembly doesn't have proper constraints then that item itself shows that in its icon. whereas in NX , you are not constrained for constraining everything like in creo.

**What problems is Creo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creo solves instability in designs, assembly clutter, and disconnected simulation workflows. It lets you manage revisions easily, reuse designs smartly, and test thermal behavior inside the CAD environment. That saves time and improves design precision across platforms.
