There’s plenty of customisation, and lots of ways to test things out, plus regular feature updates, which is great. **What do you dislike about Crazy Egg?** The downside is that the product’s stability can be a little janky at times. It would also be nice to be able to test based on traffic source, but at this price it’s not a deal breaker. **What problems is Crazy Egg solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to easily spin up A/B tests to measure hypotheses and gather user feedback before committing to a change. ### 2. I need the same things I've always needed from web analytics and Crazy Egg covers all the crucial bases. Ease of use is great. I'm not a web dev and had zero issues installing it. Everything is easier to do that in GA4, and I'm probably going to roll this out to my other sites. Specifically, I'm leaving this review because I ran into an issue with goal tracking. Crazy Egg couldn't connect to my site because I'm using a basic website builder and can't update the CSP on my own. I reached out to support, and within 10 days they had implemented a fix for my problem. As a freemium customer? I was blown away. **What do you dislike about Crazy Egg?** At this point, nothing. I wish there was more of a visual funnel, but what they have is solid. **What problems is Crazy Egg solving and how is that benefiting you?** I need to do basic conversion tracking on my websites, and want to have a clear idea of the best traffic is coming from. This used to be straightforward in UA and older versions of GA, but I really hate GA4. With CE, I can log on, see exactly what's happening on my site, where traffic is coming from, bounce rate, all of the normal stuff. The surveys have been easy to set up, and I think I will be making more use of them on client sites in the future. ### 3. It's quick to set up a new Crazy Egg tracker and once its set up its easy to see the hot spots and downsides of where people are clicking and spending the most time. You can also set how long you want it tracked for and when you want it stopped. **What do you dislike about Crazy Egg?** There isn't much I don't like. It does the job for us great and helps us give relevant info to our GM and store owner. **What problems is Crazy Egg solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping us see how well our site pages are performing. ### 4. Implementing snapshots and A/B tests is also very easy to get into, but there are also details for more complex tasks available. You may just require some coding experience or creative thinking to get around it. The price is also very reasonable for our company compared to other competitors I searched for. Support is pretty good and even recommended a custom script to use for our site which allowed us to prevent A/B test editing on certain domains. **What do you dislike about Crazy Egg?** Support is sometimes a little slow to respond in some cases. There are some technical issues or quirks that aren't described in their documentation, so I had to investigate them myself. **What problems is Crazy Egg solving and how is that benefiting you?** CrazyEgg is able to provide us with useful information about our website, and evidence about how users interact with our page through the recordings tool (whereas Microsoft Clarity seems more random and tricky to learn). We are able to gather intelligence on possible UX issues and typical user behavior so that we can create a strong argument to present to the CEO. In our department, we work a lot on UX suggestions and researching best practices for our specific market, so A/B testing has been valuable in being data driven and gathering evidence to support our research to the company as a whole. ### 5.
