"Cortex Cloud earned it's place before every release."

5/5

What do you like best about Cortex Cloud?

Our Marketing team has around 45 people and we run campaigns across AWS and Azure. Before every major launch i use the runtime security dashboard to verify that customer facing assets don't have risky cloud misconfiguration. During one product campaign Cortex cloud flagged an exposed storage bucket and linked it to the affected workload through attack path Analysis so our cloud team fixed it before the launch window. I also use the compliance dashboard to confirm required controls without chasing updates from different teams. The findings connect directly with our existing cloud environment and the ai based risk prioritization filter out low impact alerts instead of sending hundereds of notification. Even during onboarding the prebuilt policies made the rollout straightforward and having application, identity and cloud findings in one workspace made weekly security reviews much easier. What do you dislike about Cortex Cloud?

I haven't run into any major issues so far. The platform has been stable for our environment and most of the features worked as expected from the beginning. The only thing i would like to see is a few more marketing focused dashboard for non technical users but our security team already customizes the views so it hasn't affected our day to day work. Overall it has been a reliable experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cortex Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before we started using cortex cloud our cloud and security teams were checking alerts from multiple security tools before every campaign launch which often delayed approvals. Now I can review cloud posture, runtime findings and compliance status from a single platform before marketing assets go live. During one release Cortex Claud identified an exposed storage resource that could have affected a customer facing application and it was fixed before launch. From a cost perspective we no longer need separate tools for cloud posture management and runtime protection which reduced software costs and the time our teams spend investigating duplicate alerts. That has made our security process more predictable while delivering a stronger return on our security investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
