What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning SBX?

From a system admin perspective, the platform is easy to configure compared to many other renowned solutions in the industry.

The Product team takes prompt action in reviewing customer requirements and ideas. Most of our ideas were accepted by them and released as new features, for which we are delighted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning SBX?

Some improvements are required in the Analytics module - a few dimensions and metrics are not supported. Integration with Badging providers like Credly is one of the features we are still waiting on as it will enable learners to showcase their accomplishments to the general public. What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning SBX?

We deploy Saba Cloud in institution to train staff and students on new courses and training modules. Maintain and record their progress and collect the learning patterns data for further initiatives and provide the certification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface can be upgraded to add new features, whereas the existing one is easy to use and provides all the features and the generates the complete relevant data and reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cornerstone Learning SBX solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had different management solutions for skill development, talent and performance management, which in turn needed a lot of manual work to collect data from different systems. I enjoy all the possibilities and ways to serve learning opportunities to all employees at our company. It is technical and able and I enjoy being in the system and navigating it each day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning SBX?

There are some technical areas that Saba Cloud doesn't offer when partnering with off the shelf vendors that we have used. Different connector capabilities didn't seem to be ready at the time we needed to use SSO for our learners for one particular vendor. Also, it is very click heavy, it would be wonderful to have key stroke shortcuts as well as a different method to select dates in a different way than the calendar box. Saba/Cornerstone is going in heavily on the learning side, somewhat to the detriment of talent modules. Most of the upgrades/new releases are almost exclusively learning, with very few impactful improvements to the talent tools. What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning SBX?

The only positive I can muster is the ability to schedule deliveries of data out of the system, which is a positive because the Analytics is slow, cumbersome, and poor. All business insights you will glean from the system will be found outside of the system. It is difficult for managers to see who completed a course or needs to complete it. What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning SBX?

The interface is awful, constantly moving you into different object types and making it very difficult to understand where your courses, certifications, classes, content, etc... is, or what structure they are going to take in the end.

The support for this system boils down to a community site where other users teach you, poorly, how to use the system.

Every object type has dozens of settings you will need to flip every time you create something and there is too much opportunity for error.

If you need an LMS, you are looking for a tool. Saba Cloud is a project. Saba Cloud is a problem. Saba Cloud is a cost center with a poor ROI. Saba Cloud is not a tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
