## Cornerstone Learning Reviews
 ### 1. All Training, Courses, and Tasks in One Place with Cornerstone Learning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nijat I. | Full-stack Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

In the end, I mostly relied on Cornerstone Learning for my internal training and onboarding, and it didn't take long before I realized that everything I need regarding my courses, tasks, and even the course completion process were all placed in one area. It was easy for me because there was no need to search for links or files; I would just have to check into the site, and everything would be right there at my fingertips.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

This did not come across as being very intuitive right from the start. I recall taking some extra time navigating through the site simply to locate particular sections or information about courses and status updates. The navigation process may be slightly awkward, as it sometimes takes several clicks to navigate through basic information. Furthermore, not all the courses offered seemed to blend seamlessly into the system; some had a different presentation altogether, while others loaded up differently. This was somewhat disturbing, but it was not enough to ruin my experience entirely. In addition, having numerous training sessions scheduled made navigation cumbersome.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using it, training was scattered — some materials were in documents, some in emails, and it wasn’t always clear what had been completed. With Cornerstone Learning, everything is tracked in one place, so I don’t have to guess what I’ve done or what’s still pending. It made onboarding smoother and reduced the need to follow up with managers or HR for basic information. In practice, it just removed a lot of small friction from the learning process and made it easier to stay on top of required training without extra coordination.

 ### 2. Solid Curriculum Management That Scales with Your Learning Catalog

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco M. | Senior Project & Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

The content organization and curriculum management tools are solid. Being able to structure learning paths by role, product area, or certification level gives learners a clear sense of progression, and it keeps the admin experience manageable even as the catalog grows.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The reporting module is functional, but it has clear limitations when it comes to building truly custom reports. Getting the exact data cut I need often requires workarounds or exporting to Excel for additional manipulation, which isn’t ideal—especially when I need quick, reliable insights to share with stakeholders.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The core problem Cornerstone solves for us is centralizing product education for a global audience of customers and partners. Before we had a dedicated learning hub, our training delivery was fragmented: formats were inconsistent, there was no tracking, and we didn’t have a scalable way to certify knowledge of our platform.

 ### 3. Central organization, but UI could be more intuitive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio D. | Human Resources Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

What I like most is that everything is centrally and clearly bundled at Cornerstone Learning. I can track the learning progress well without constantly having to manually follow up. This helps me to better manage mandatory training and onboarding and to track progress more easily. Additionally, the connection is most important to me because it measures sports time and also takes effort into account. It simply makes it clear to keep an overview, which saves me a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

For me, the interface is not entirely intuitive in some places, so you have to familiarize yourself with it before everything runs smoothly. Also, the zoom function and the evaluation of reports could be clearer.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cornerstone Learning for mandatory training, onboarding, and to centrally track learning progress, which saves me from manual coordination and saves time.

 ### 4. Customizable Training Platform That Scales Technical Skills Across the Team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ark M. | Human Resources Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like that you can customize it to fit how you want to help employees learn and improve their skills, especially when you want to focus on a very technical skill and scale that training across the team.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The platform isn’t as straightforward as it seems, and it’s not something you can easily use right away. Even though it offers customization, you still need an expert from their team to set it up properly and tailor it to what works best for your company.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it’s been helpful for upskilling team members. It actually helps us identify each other’s weaknesses, and it allows us to use the platform to improve and boost everyone’s work efficiency.

 ### 5. Intuitive Platform, Needs Better Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim C. | Sr HRIS Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

I like that Cornerstone Learning is efficiently designed and very user-friendly. It's integrated well with our core HR system, which helps in reminding employees to finish required trainings and keeps their managers up to date on progress. The data integrations are often and smooth, allowing updated information like manager reporting relationships and job changes to settle into Cornerstone quickly, providing the correct required trainings. The initial setup of Cornerstone Learning was very easy, which I appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

The cost was a bit high and sometimes we had trouble getting support on problems from the Cornerstone team. Just slow reply or incomplete answers.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cornerstone Learning for pushing required compliance trainings and enhancing employee skills. It's user-friendly, integrates well with our HR system, and ensures managers stay updated on training progress.

 ### 6. Manager, Product Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick P. | Manager, Product Support, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Cornerstone is a great HR tool as it allows leaders to see employee's skills. This allows leaders to quickly review talents that are already in house.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Cornerstone can be cumbersome at times due to the complexity of the user interface. When using it for Performance and Talent, the UI forces the user to go through multiple screens.

Cornerstone solves the challenge of managing training, compliance, and skills by providing a unified platform. It enables it allows automation that will boost retention and productivity for your teams.

 ### 7. Modern, Centralized Learning with HRIS Integration—But Setup Can Feel Rigid

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrianna R. | HRIS Implementation Specialist II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Centralized learning & personalized learning pathways, ideal for expanding organizations, integrated well with HRIS and also has a modern UI. Change enable not just a tool.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Bit complex integration and implementation. Somewhat high cost for licensing fee, support etc,. Rigid, limited flexibility without customization causing the experience to feel overwhelming

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improved quality with less errors, stronger governance, better workforce planning, increased productivity, stronger talent development, great analytics on completion rates, performance and learning impact.

 ### 8. User-Friendly, AI-Driven Workforce Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

I like the artificial intelligence in Cornerstone Learning. The workforce management software is also user-friendly and AI-driven. It's easy for new learners.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

I think Cornerstone Learning could be better by adding customization and configuration options. I would also like to have some real-time work features so I can add them to my project.

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cornerstone Learning for better career growth and staying updated over time. It's user-friendly, AI-driven, and enhances workforce management.

 ### 9. Bespoke Learning Assignments and Flexible Multilingual Curriculums

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

Able to create bespoke learning assignments and set up courses in curriculums, where users can then select the language variation they wish to use when taking the course

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Have had issues with complicated learning assignments, but these may be more to do with our internal structure than Cornerstone itself. Also when someone is marked as exempt from a course, it is permanent rather than for the current assignment period

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Cornerstone allows us to set up courses on a regular cycle, all with different assignment rules and different frequency for retraining. The automated reminder emails ensure that people are aware when courses are due

 ### 10. Great for compliance - horrible for the end-user

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael A. | Training Portfolio Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Cornerstone Learning?**

It's a great platform when you want to demonstrate compliance - but that's it. If you plan to use it, do this: Use it out of the box - adapt your processes to how the system works - not the other way around.

**What do you dislike about Cornerstone Learning?**

Note: Most people writing reviews about Cornerstone are not end-users (learners). Learners suffer horribly in Cornerstone.

Where do I begin? I've seen it twice now in my different employments.
It has a horrible end-user interface making me doubt that those who built it even have UX designers employed. Things are not logical - at all. Buttons that are essential are not clear, the learning flow is off. I could go on and on.

Writing this (July 2025) relaunching courses by just clicking "Launch" from a curriculum is not possible. The button now says "Request" which doesn't make sense - as you've already viewed the course once. Why would you need to request it? It then sends an approval request that is missed by the ueres' manager. An LMS where you can't revisit your eLearning without a Phd in UX... I lack a proper vocabulary for describing this.

When making Cornerstone aware of issues (like notes(!) not visible to all users) - nothing happens. It's a system for compliance for crying out loud - so things should be tested before launching new features - it seems like they don'ty do that - at all.

It says it all that we have an army of support people employed to answer questions about the use of the system. The new curriculum player 2.0 used to display learning content looks like it was created by someone who doesn't understand how online learning works. The learner should see the course they are taking - nothing else. They don't care about progress in the curriculum while they are trying to learn something - it's like reading a book with commercials in it.

On a normal laptop, the space allowed for the actual learning part (the online course) is so limited, that you need a magnifying glass to view it, if your screen isn't at least 21 inches. Yes, you can click a very small highlighted text so the course launches in a new window, but yet again Cornerstone misses out on the basics of UX. I heard once that Cornerstone considers themselves to be the Microsoft of LMSs. I beg to differ - a lot!

**What problems is Cornerstone Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cornerstone helps display that we are compliant in our training efforts (medical device industry). It does a great job here.
