I like that Cookiebot by Usercentrics allows me to continue operating a data-driven marketing model in an increasingly restrictive environment. I value that it transforms a restriction like consent into a structured data system, which helps optimize marketing and prevents us from making decisions with broken or incomplete data. Implementation dependency. Limited modeling (consent mode). UX vs compliance. Little visibility for business. It works well as infrastructure, but its value depends more on how you implement and exploit it than on the tool itself. If it is not well configured (GTM, Consent Mode, tags), it loses a large part of its value. It is not truly plug & play. The modeled data helps, but it does not replace the observed data.
