The API is the best part. We run our cold email lead sourcing through code, and Consulti slotted straight into it. Searching, building lists and pulling leads with filters for state, industry, job title and company size all worked without fuss. The list exclusion feature means we never pay twice for leads we've already pulled, which matters when you're building lists over several weeks. For our market, small home-service contractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing) in Texas and Florida, a big share of emails came back as catch-all or unknown when verified. That's partly the nature of small businesses on cheap email hosts, but it meant a lot of credits went on leads we couldn't safely send to. Catch-all verification is available, but at 5 credits an email it gets expensive across a large list. I'd like clearer guidance up front on expected deliverability for local small-business segments.
