"Effortless Jira Migrations and Confident Change Management with CMJ"
5/5
What do you like best about Configuration Manager for Jira (CMJ)?

Configuration Manager for Jira has truly simplified my work. What stands out most is how seamlessly it manages complex Jira migrations. Rather than spending countless hours meticulously checking every workflow, screen, and field, CMJ organizes everything efficiently and transfers it just as I expect. It comes across as dependable, consistent, and quick—almost as if it intuitively understands the structure of my Jira setup.

Another aspect I really appreciate is the confidence it brings to change management. Deployments used to be nerve-wracking, but with CMJ, I can preview and validate changes before applying them, which means I can update without the fear of disrupting production. This not only saves time but also minimizes risk and ensures the team’s workflow remains uninterrupted.

In summary, CMJ is more than just a tool—it’s a significant productivity enhancer and a reliable safeguard when handling Jira configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Configuration Manager for Jira (CMJ)?

The only thing I truly dislike about CMJ is that the learning curve can feel a bit steep in the beginning. Because the tool is powerful and packed with features, it takes a little time to fully understand how everything works — especially if you're new to Jira admin tasks.

Occasionally, large deployments can take longer than expected, and I wish the progress feedback during these operations was a bit more detailed so I know exactly what’s happening behind the scenes.

But once you get used to it, these issues become minor compared to the time CMJ saves overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
