The best part about it is the low number of crashes I have faced while using this. Other compressing, encoding and exporting software I have used aren't the most stable on the M2 macs. The worst bit is obviously the price. It should have been bundled with their final cut pro software but it isn't. One needs to buy and install it from the app store in order to use and integrate it into their workflow. The user interface isn't the most intuitive as well. I really like that the Apple compressor tool is built in and feels like a native app. (i may be mistaken and it might actually be a native app). Either way, it integrates with the MAC OS and in turn everything that I use for audio and video, making it an easy and streamlined process for manipulating files, and exporting them into the different formats that I need.
