What do you like best about Comet Backup?

Comet is easy to set up and works very reliably. We use it to back up data for our customers, and it’s exactly what we need: a dependable backup system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comet Backup?

My only complaint is that you need to be extremely cautious when manually running a backup plan if you have multiple storage vaults set up. It doesn’t automatically use the storage vault configured for that plan; instead, it simply offers any of the available vaults. If you pick the wrong one by mistake, you can end up backing up to a different storage vault than intended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Comet Backup solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an MSP, we need reliable tools we can resell to our clients—tools we can set up once and then largely forget about. If we have to spend time every day reviewing failed backup reports and tracking down issues, we end up losing money. Comet helps us avoid that thanks to its reliability. The reporting is also easy to set up, not only for us but for the customer as well, and the monthly summaries sent to clients are extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
