"Cogito Brings Objective Vocal Metrics to 1-on-1 Coaching"
4/5
What do you like best about Cogito?

I love that it replaces subjective managerial opinions with cold, hard vocal data. Before Cogito, coaching was exhausting. If I told a junior seller, “You sounded aggressive and didn’t listen when the prospect brought up price,” they’d immediately get defensive.

Now, ahead of my Tuesday 1-on-1 coaching clinics, I log into the Cogito Supervisor Dashboard and review each rep’s weekly trendlines. I can see, for example, that their “Overlapping Speech” metric was 18% higher than the floor average, and that their “Monologue” metric spiked sharply during pricing discussions. From there, I can pull up the exact call timeline, point to the data, and say, “Look, you talked for 90 seconds straight here without letting the buyer breathe.”

At that point, the debate ends immediately, and we can move straight into tactical voice control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cogito?

To be completely transparent, the initial acoustic calibration and rollout friction can be brutal. Out of the box, the AI doesn’t always pick up on regional nuances. For instance, a fast-talking New York sales rep might get repeatedly flagged as “aggressive” or “rushed,” while a rep with a Southern drawl might be flagged for “low energy.” In practice, I usually have to spend about 3 to 4 weeks working with the operations team to tune the baseline acoustic models so we can avoid false positives.
