What do you like best about Codex?

What I like most about Codex is that it helps us move faster in development without wasting time on repetitive tasks. We use it about four times a week among three team members to understand existing code, propose solutions, refactor, and detect errors. I find it especially useful because I can review its suggestions and adapt them to our project, instead of always starting from scratch. What do you dislike about Codex?

What I like the least is that the first proposal is not always ready to use, and you have to review the context, make adjustments, and thoroughly validate the changes before incorporating them into the project. In complex tasks, it can also make different decisions than expected if the instruction is not very clear. I don't consider it a serious problem because human review is still necessary, but it would be useful if it understood the complete context of the repository better and showed more clearly why it proposes each change. What problems is Codex solving and how is that benefiting you?

Codex helps us solve tasks that used to take a lot of time, such as understanding parts of a project, investigating errors, preparing changes, and reviewing different implementation alternatives. By using it among three team members, we can move forward with more autonomy and spend less time on repetitive tasks or searching for a solution from scratch. We use it approximately four times a week and usually review its proposals before applying them. The main benefit has been speeding up daily work and maintaining a more constant flow, especially when we need to unblock a technical problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
