What do you like best about Cloudron?

Cloudron automates nearly all the administrative tasks for running a server. It makes my job really easy. I appreciate the backup feature most. It makes upgrading from a server to another a breeze. The built-in SMTP mail server is useful for communicating and creating professional-looking emails. Even if you're newbie and know little about sysadmin, you can still figure it out thanks to Cloudron. There are a ton of other features which I have yet to touch upon. However, the forum community and support team have been extremely helpful and kind. They also have a Demo on the official website, which I can tinker with from time to time. I really like that too. What do you dislike about Cloudron?

I wish there would be more apps in the future and also the rate of publishing an app on the Cloudron app store would be a lot quicker. I do understand and value the work people put into this in any way. There may be notifications of new app if a user chooses to opt in for those. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cloudron solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cloudron is saving users lots of time handling tasks like backups, updates and fixing any errors with self-hosting apps, mostly FOSS apps. They bridge the gap between a non-technical user, who wants or needs a software for their hobby or work, and running the app that they want smoothly. I truly appreciate that it's almost like set and forget. For my usage needs, I honestly haven't felt or had the need to contact their support after getting familiarized with things and getting them up and running. This has been so for several years and tech issues have been minimal, which to me is a gift. It gets economical as you can run many different apps on one single server.
