"Flexible project management tool for managing tasks and team workflows"

4/5

What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I find most helpful about ClickUp is that it provides a centralized and flexible workspace for managing tasks, projects, and team collaboration.

The UI is relatively intuitive, while the different views, custom fields, statuses, and task configurations give us enough flexibility to adapt ClickUp to our workflow. Its integrations are also useful because they help connect project activities with other tools we use.

In terms of performance, ClickUp has been reliable for our day-to-day task and project management. The main value for us is having project information, task updates, discussions, and responsibilities in one place, which reduces the need to manage everything through separate spreadsheets or chat conversations.

From a pricing and ROI perspective, the value comes from having multiple project management and collaboration capabilities within one platform. It can help reduce the number of separate tools needed, although the actual value depends on how much of ClickUp's functionality a team uses.

The onboarding experience is straightforward once the team understands the basic structure of Spaces, Folders, Lists, and Tasks. There is also a lot of documentation and guidance available when we need to explore additional features.

I also find ClickUp's AI capabilities useful for improving productivity, particularly for tasks such as summarizing information, generating or improving content, and assisting with day-to-day work. It is not something we rely on for every task, but it can save time when used appropriately.

Overall, the biggest upside is the combination of flexibility, collaboration, integrations, and productivity features in a single platform. It gives our team better visibility and structure without making our workflow overly dependent on spreadsheets or separate communication channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The main thing I dislike about ClickUp is that it can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users. There are many features, customization options, and settings available, so it takes some time to understand the best way to structure and manage work. Some advanced features can also feel more complicated than necessary for simple tasks. However, once the workspace is properly configured and the team gets familiar with the platform, it becomes much easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?

ClickUp helps solve the problem of managing tasks, projects, and team collaboration across different tools. It gives us a centralized place to organize work, assign responsibilities, track progress, and communicate about tasks. This makes it easier to keep everyone aligned, reduce missed follow-ups, and have better visibility into project status. It also helps improve our overall workflow and makes day-to-day task management more structured and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
