I really like ClickHouse for its performance. The speed on large data sets is impressive and stays fast even as the data grows. I also appreciate the compression, as it's a big win for us. The SQL-like interface is nice since it lowers the learning curve, and the ecosystem integrations are pretty straightforward. The materialized views and merge tree engines stand out, making pre-aggregation and time-based queries more efficient, which keeps our dashboards responsive even with huge data sets. I also value how materialized views on merge tree tables cut query time dramatically for our recurring analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Running and tuning clusters can be non-trivial, which adds operational complexity to using ClickHouse. Upgrades and resource tuning take effort, and the initial setup wasn't super easy. It took time to get configurations and data modeling right, so it's not exactly plug and play. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
