I think Clerk.dev offers a rapid way of having a secure method for users to sign up and sign in to our product. It provides good data from a tracking point of view, which is helpful for us. I also like the features around role permissions and the integration with billing, even though we aren't using all of them yet. These are attractive capabilities for us. I think that user roles and permissions can often become more complicated, and typically they're at the application level in the specific domain of your product. Clerk does provide some capabilities around this, but I'd love to see that go deeper.
