We needed a robust reliable Email Gateway system to replace our server based ClearSwift offering. After a lot of research it appeared that the IronPort to meet all the requirement along with the ability to customise all our domain paths\rules Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Cisco IronPort?

A fully automated and efficient piece of equipment once the configs\dictionary's have been set for your environment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco IronPort?

Phishing interface not as intelligent around users, For it truly to be effective a dictionary object needed to be created with the key user names in different formats for the check to be thorough Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Cisco IronPort:

Absolutely, Its the same with any product "You get what you pay for" If you want complete email security gateways, then this is the product to achieve it financially in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cisco IronPort solving and how is that benefiting you?

Once configured it handles mail extremely well, and alerts you by email of any issues threats etc. This freed up a lot of manual checking giving a full automated service. By having two appliances in a clustered environment it enabled us to maintain 100% up time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
