"Cisco ASA 5k: Stable, Reliable VPN with High Throughput"
4/5
What do you like best about Cisco ASA 5500-X Series?

I have worked with the Cisco ASA 4k and 5k series. The Cisco ASA 5k series is a very good VPN product that can support a high number of users and remains very stable.

Overall, the product is reliable and handles high throughput well. We don’t see fluctuations or sudden spikes in CPU or memory usage.

Cost is also afforadable compared to other NGFW Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco ASA 5500-X Series?

When it comes to a new setup, we always run into issues with the ASA and Firepower combination. The NGFW features are not that great compared to other vendors. Most of the 5k series is end of life, and we are migrating to the 4215.

Cisco needs to come up with a single setup approach, like Firepower managed by FMC, instead of having to deal with ASA through ASDM and the CLI.

For SSL VPN , licensing cost is something which they need to look into it as other vendors they don't charge for licensing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
