## Churchteams Reviews
  ### 1. Incredibly User-Friendly, Great Communication Tools, and Unbeatable Support & Price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Info T. | Communications Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

The best thing about Churchteams is its ease of use. It's incredibly user friendly, no matter the function you're using. You can also easily communicate with the people you need to in the format you desire (text or email). Additionaly, if you do come across a problem, you cannot beat their customer service! And you cannot beat the price with any other product on the market.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

The only thing I'm not fond of is having to set up a two-group registration for anything child or student related. We have issues getting the second form conpleted. When you'rel ooking at a registration of over 100, that gets daunting to track down parents and have them complete the second form (because they think they're done).

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having everthing in one place, easy communication tools, and a robust reporting system. Most ChMS will be heavy in one or two areas, but not all three. Additionally, Churchteams support is incredibly easy to work with and can provide solutions quickly.

  ### 2. Churchteams Online Giving backed by incredible support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlene M. | Assistant Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

We have been using Churchteams for several years. I want to share about a specific change we went through and the incredible support and dedication we received as we made the necessary changes.

We rely heavily on the Online Giving aspect of Churchteams, the majority of our members use this feature, so we need any changes to be seamless. We recently legally changed the name of our church and our bank required us to get new bank accounts. When I contacted Bryce, who handles support for online giving, to ask what we needed to do to update to the new account, he got me the paper work and told me what was needed. However, our new bank setup was one that had not come up before. We now had a "receivables" account for deposits only and a separate account where the fees would be paid from. This was a way of banking that online vendor had not come across before. But Bryce was awesome. He talked with the vendor that handles the giving, came back with questions, and worked to help determine exactly what was needed. The forms were completed and we are up and running, seamlessly, using the new bank accounts.

I never have to worry if I can't find the answer needed in their extensive FAQ support section, along with videos, I am assured that the staff will provide the help and guidance needed to accomplish my goal.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

I don't actually "dislike" this part, but the workflows are set up differently that the previous couple of software packages we used. But they work and get the job done.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online giving is huge. By giving our members the option to give, and set up recurring payments, allows for the money to go directly to our accounts and makes it easier for our members to not have to worry about remembering to give.

**Official Response from Jennifer Coates:**

> Charlene, thank you for leaving us such detailed feedback on your experience working with Bryce from our online giving team! We work hard to achieve that level of customer satisfaction with every support interaction we have. It's good to hear that you were well taken care of by our team and are experiencing success with your use of our workflow automation and online giving features. Never hesitate to let us know how we can continue to help you.

  ### 3. Transformative Church Management Tool with Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad C. | Director of Information Technology, Religious Institutions, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

We use Churchteams as our Church Management Software, and it really helps streamline tasks, particularly with groups and member management. I love how easy it is to use, and the support team is second to none—responding quickly to any issues we might have. The developers listen to customer feedback, and the software is continually developing. I was blown away by how easy our migration to Churchteams was, thanks to their awesome support staff, and it's very intuitive, so the learning curve is fairly minimal. Their help with providing an API link for our VBS was incredible and increased our giving significantly. Huge UI strides have been made, making the software look more current and appealing.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

I usually harp on their UI but they have made huge UI strides in the past year that have made the software look more current and more appealing to the end user.

**Recommendations to others considering Churchteams:**

It is the best value for the price and their support is second to none!

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Churchteams streamlines tasks for groups, member management, and registrations through workflows, while improving communication with members via email and text. Its ease of use and responsive support are standout features, and ongoing UI improvements make it more appealing.

**Official Response from Jennifer Coates:**

> Hey Brad. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a detailed review of Churchteams. As a 15+ year customer, you've seen us grow and develop many features in the software. Your experience and feedback are valuable to us as we continue to roll out new church management solutions.

Hearing that our UI improvements have landed well is great news - and we are continuing to make more improvements throughout this year. But the best part of your review was your successful VBS giving campaign. Our staff really enjoyed seeing how your church was able to watch live as the numbers grew.

We're grateful to you and all of the Central Baptist staff!

  ### 4. All-in-One Church Management with Fast, Helpful Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie H. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

The software allows us to accomplish all we need to in one place - recording attendance, sending mass emails or texts, recording donations, and it also allows people to sign up for recurring giving. It provides a church app that people can download and have contact information for our members, update their own contact information, and upload a photo for their profile. Anytime I have a question on how to do something, I email and the response time is incredibly fast and helpful. They also provide helpful videos on how to do different things.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

Maybe figuring out how to set up automatic follow up for our first time guests. It's partly my fault, because I've been focusing on learning how to do other things with the software, but it has even more potential than I'm currently accessing!

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating "groups" to be able to accurately track attendance. It helps me to do all I need to under one platform. Previously we were using Church Windows, Mail Chimp, Vanco, and Planning Center for different things, and now everything is under one platform, which is so nice.

**Official Response from Jennifer Coates:**

> Hi Julie, Thanks for leaving us such great feedback from your use of Churchteams. We would love to set up a time to show you how to use automations to track and follow up with guests, as well as other automations you'd likely find helpful. We've got great tools to identify people who haven't attended for several weeks and those who might be interested in volunteering. Please contact us at support@churchteams.com to set up a time that's convenient for you.

  ### 5. Church Teams is easy and fun to use!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

Church Teams is a user-friendly software that is easy to use even for those, like me, who are technology-challenged. We use it for our membership database. We use texting, emails, giving, reports, and many more functions.
The website has a HELP option that is very handy. This software is exciting and fun to use.

What I like best is the excellent support I get from the help desk. My emailed questions are answered in a very timely manner. Even when I need additional help, those who answer my calls are patient and kind and walk me through my difficulties.

Every time I use Church Teams, I find another application that helps my workflow, keeping track of members to touch base with when absences continue. My ministers love the registration function.

Church Teams is a game-changer! It provides so many tools to help a church keep up with members, ministries, giving, communication and more.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

Nothing! Again, this is the easiest software I have used in my entire life!

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Church Teams helps me solve the variety of requests from our membership group. It is a quick and easy application to use when tracking attendance, giving, campaigns, designated donations, etc. I use the communication aspect all the time. It is easy to provide up-to-date ways to contact members when time is critical.

**Official Response from Jennifer Coates:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful review of Churchteams! It looks like you are enjoying using several of the features in our church management software, and we are glad to hear you love them all! Our Support Desk strives to give tailor-made help to each person we work with, and it looks like you've gotten that level of care we work so hard to give. Thanks again for taking the time to leave your feedback.

  ### 6. Effortless Congregation Management, Loved by Pastors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** VCB T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

I appreciate that Churchteams is our primary database managing everything from emails to worship attendance, giving tracking, and event registration. It's a perfect combination of user-friendly and robust, handling our complicated church activities smoothly. I like that my pastors actually use it, which wasn’t the case with our previous software, Shelby Arena, which was so hard to use that it led us to rely on multiple services. With Churchteams, it's great to have everything in one place, especially for tracking attendance accurately. It's really helpful to have all attendance data compiled into one easy-to-use report from various sources like check-ins, texts, and online forms. Setting things up initially was a breeze, thanks to their data management staff doing all the importing for me. Overall, Churchteams is incredibly helpful, and I would highly recommend it to others.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

Every once in a while there is a formatting issue on my phone. When we take attendance from the back of the room, the list of 500 names would fit better if there weren't big boxes around every name. It annoys me every week.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Churchteams consolidates all our congregation's information, making it easy to manage emails, attendance, and event registration in one place. It compiles attendance data from various sources into one report, which is excellent for tracking participation and helps us notice when someone goes missing.

  ### 7. Simple, Phenomenal Automated Workflows with a Straightforward UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh H. | Small Groups Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

The simplicity and ability to setup automated workflows for communication to groups of people in either small groups or events make this product phenomenal! The UI is straight forward and easy to understand.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

The lag it has for our large database. Sometimes reviewing old inactive groups takes up to 90 seconds to load before I can proceed if I forget to type in a search word first. The lag in deleting workflows is time consuming and cumbersome as as well.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can literally set it and forget for my summer event schedules. I have very little interaction with they system once my events are dialed in. My church members find it easy to register as well.

**Official Response from Jennifer Coates:**

> Hey Josh, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us a great review and honest feedback. We love that you love our automated workflows! Sounds like the automation in our church management software is really saving you time. I will pass on the feedback about the lag time for inactive and large workflow steps to our development team. We want your experience with Churchteams to be top-notch, so we will look further into your experience and see where we can improve.

  ### 8. One of the best Church Management Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

Having a good support team is vitally important to a software company. Church Teams support team is top notch. They are gracious, responsive and very knowledgeable.
The system is deep and wide and all of our ministries utilize Church Team for notes, attendance, reports, emails, texts, check in, online giving, etc.
The company is always improving the user experience.
From the top down...Church Teams is a solid company.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

No software system is perfect. There are areas in reporting that can be improved. However, when a report that I need is not available in the report area, the support team can usually come up with a solution that works.

**Recommendations to others considering Churchteams:**

Church Teams is very user friendly and is a great support for our Pastors. They can easily access Church Teams on their phone for a quick look up of a congregants info or get a 360 degree view of the whole family. The reports are robust with the capability to pull out all kinds of info. Support is top notch and available to assist with any question.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recently they increased the text character count which was appreciated. The email function has improved tremendously over the past year.

**Official Response from Jennifer Coates:**

> Thanks so much for leaving such a positive review of Churchteams. Yes -- our development team is working hard to continually make improvements and upgrades, such as adding the MMS texting you mentioned and allowing you to send longer texts, as well as audio and image files. It's also great to know that our Support team has been able to assist you with some custom reports. We are glad to hear of your good experience but never hesitate to let us know if there is more we can do!

  ### 9. Great Group Texting and Interface, but GroupFinder Logouts and Limited Integrations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emma H. | Kids Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

I really like the texting feature, I think it's great that you can send something to a large group, or text one on one without having to give everyone your number. I like the group interface for congregant users, I think it is easy to use once you learn about it.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

It is frustrating when you're trying to use GroupFinder and it logs you out every time.

I wish there was a real app or better integrations with the other platforms we currently use.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the problem of "how do we organize and communicate with our group members"? With over 200 people in around 40 groups, it does make things easy to track and pay attention to.

**Official Response from Jennifer Coates:**

> Thanks, Emma, for your review of Churchteams. We love hearing that the church texting feature is making it so easy for you guys to communicate with your church!
Our team will follow up with you regarding the error you are experiencing with Groupfinder. We aren't hearing that from our other churches, so I suspect this is something that we can easily resolve for you guys. Please also feel free to contact our support team either by phone or email anytime you have an issue. We personally answer calls (unless our team is on other calls at the time, of course) and respond to emails quickly.
Thanks again for using Churchteams and leaving us this feedback.

  ### 10. Streamlined Church Management with Easy Transition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teandra L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Churchteams?**

I like that Churchteams is an all-in-one solution. Especially with text messaging, it can get messages out to our members, groups, or teams efficiently. It houses everything at one time, reducing the amount of manual work, which helps alleviate some of the time spent on manual tasks. Also, Churchteams is very usable and user-friendly, allowing multiple people to use it. Setting it up was very easy with the help of Boyd and the team, ensuring a smooth transition.

**What do you dislike about Churchteams?**

The only thing is in groups if I'm updating, like, payments or questions that we might manually get, because some of our older members are not technology savvy. It refreshes it where you have to go back and find the person. Like, let's say I'm updating they paid $12 and we have to go and update it, it'll refresh it, and I have to go back and find that person.

**What problems is Churchteams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Churchteams to manage communication, collect tithes, track attendance, handle event registrations, and process payments. It centralizes everything, reducing manual work, especially with text messaging, making it a very helpful all-in-one database.

**Official Response from Jennifer Coates:**

> Teandra, thanks for the glowing review of Churchteams. We love to hear that church texting through Churchteams is meeting your ministry communication needs!
We'd love to help you further on accepting in-person payments for events. Our Support Team can show you the process for accepting payments right in the group and you won't have to click in or out of a person's record. Please give us a call at the Support Desk or email Support@churchteams.com so we can help you make this process better.
