"Chronicler Boosted Volunteer Data Accuracy with an Intuitive UI and Stellar Support"

What do you like best about Chronicler?

Chronicler has been integral to increasing the accuracy and volume of records within our service delivery. As a volunteer-based service, the UI has been one of the biggest assets with Chronicler. Volunteers find it easy to learn and the clear logic of the platform and data input forms meant that our data accuracy increased from 77% to 93% in the first month of use. The number of service interactions increased by 29% in the financial year our volunteers used Chronicler as their data entry platform. SOP integrations by job-type, Reference Documents (procedures, policies), and a glossary all accessible on the ground within the platform further strengthens the bridge between management direction and volunteers on the ground. Chronicler works well on our diverse web platforms and operating systems and a strength is that it feels familiar on both mobile devices and computers. Chronicler performs well even during times of high service demand, with a speedy UI and very customisable workflows through their CAD configurations and diverse tool list. Beyond the software itself, Chronosoft support is second to none, with tickets raised being completed usually by COB that day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chronicler?

The inclusion of API integrations would build on this excellent product in deeply compelling ways. Partnerships with radio manufacturers to bring radio communications inside the UI would be a game changer. What problems is Chronicler solving and how is that benefiting you?

Chronicler has built capacity within our service delivery in ways we had never expected. The search function with highly configurable fields has significantly decreased the time it takes to follow up on any records requests or complaints. It has brought a new level of assurance when responding to clients to know that there are accurate, uneditable and contemporaneous notes investigators can draw from. Service response times have increased with the dispatch capabilities allowing communications and dispatch team members a high level of operational awareness and job triaging capabilities. Beyond this, the data collected, such as specific locations of jobs, has allowed ChaplainWatch to facilitate government responses to 'problem areas' within Queensland's nightlife precincts by creating heat maps to show where the built environment can be improved to reduce evident vulnerability.
