What do you like best about ChatKit?

ChatKit makes it much easier to add a production-ready AI chat experience without building the entire conversational interface from scratch. I particularly like the combination of response streaming, conversation history, file and image attachments, interactive widgets, and customization options. The integration with agent workflows is also valuable because it allows the chat interface to become more than a simple message box and support richer, action-oriented experiences inside an existing application. What do you dislike about ChatKit?

ChatKit significantly reduces frontend development effort, but the initial setup can still feel technical for teams that are not already familiar with OpenAI's developer ecosystem. I would also like to see more ready-made integrations with common business platforms and additional examples covering advanced production scenarios. ChatKit solves the problem of having to build and maintain a complete AI chat interface from the ground up. It provides the core conversational UI, streaming responses, threads, attachments, widgets, and tool interactions in a reusable framework, allowing developers to focus on the actual application and AI workflow instead of rebuilding chat infrastructure. This reduces development time, creates a more polished user experience, and makes it easier to turn AI agents into practical features within existing products.
