In my experience, ChatGPT is very useful, especially for students. It helps with assignments, projects, and understanding the syllabus. Google doesn't always provide the complete syllabus, and sometimes it gives incorrect information or overly complicated answers. In contrast, ChatGPT can provide a complete and accurate syllabus, and its answers are usually much easier to understand. That's why, in my opinion, ChatGPT is much better than Google. I'm paying for a premium subscription, but I'm constantly hit with arbitrary rate locks that make the service unusable when I actually need it. The model (v5.3) has become a nightmare-it completely ignores explicit instructions and gaslights you by doing things I never asked for, like forcing web searches or generating random images instead of just following the prompt. What problems is ChatGPT solving and how is that benefiting you? It's an incredibly useful tool, and my first go-to for information. It holds context over long conversations, adapts to my interests, and remembers key details, making interactions feel natural and efficient. Its responses are insightful and well-structured, great for learning, brainstorming, and problem-solving. Minor inaccuracies happen occasionally, but it can be minimised by good prompts with sufficient context. Overall, it's a game changer and continues to improve.
